dang you photon! now ive decided i need a nice AAA light for my empty pocket! that black cat is kinda nice

anyone ever bout one?

I have both of them but haven’t used either in a while. If memory serves, the build quality of the Richuang is better but the Black Cat is brighter. For $4.17 it’s a pretty good deal.

Output sucks, comes with a 3.7V lithium cell that takes up all of the space inside and out of the flashlight. The host is not stainless steel as advertised and is plastic with a cheap wrapper over it. I am unable to find the emitter or the switch as this version does not twist like everyone else’s.

I have contacted the seller and demanded that the correct flashlight be sent immediately but now I have to wait another 3 weeks to finally receive the light I have been anxiously waiting for. What a freaking disappointment!! Anyway, here is a picture of what I arrived home to find:

I am pleased with the fast response from the seller. They are sending the correct item to me today. All I need now from them is a tracking number.

Ultrafire UF-T50.
Very compact for a 18650 flashlight, well built, bright.
The switch is in the head, that is much better for me than in the tailcap.

I got two king kong INR 26650s today pre charged to 40%, since my charger can only take 1 cell i tossed one in it, and ran some current tests with the other one, on a cyclone c88 i got 0.08, 0.58 and 1.95 amps, about the same as the eneloops, so i’m hoping in 5 hours when the other one is charged it can do better. I was hoping it would put out 2.8amps on full at 40% charge, i wonder at what percent charge the current starts falling.

Why keep testing 7135 drivers, they are what they supposed to be. You multimeter + leads have resistance.

but others with multimeters and leads get values that match what they should be reading.

I replied to your thread. You need a very good 18650 cell, thick leads, then you can call it a problem or not.

I got four of these 18650 chargers from eBay. http://www.ebay.com/itm/150812456775?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3... nice enough chargers, just what I expected. I have to give this seller a plug because shipping time was seven days from PayPal button to mailbox.

My SmallSun ZY-T13 arrived today but since no one was able to answer the door and sign for it, the mailman left me a yellow slip instead.  Boo!!!

At least it will be there for me tomorrow when I get home from the hospital.  Help keep my mind off my pain. Wink Laughing
