Scorpion!

scorpion1scorpion2

This is the biggest scorpion I have ever killed.

I already disposed of the body, but it was at least six inches long.

Pretty creepy.

I don’t want them pre-dead, though. They leak like a Duracell.

What's scary is that during the warmer months (which is most of the year), my sister, niece, and I all walk around the house barefoot.

Today I wasn't really watching where I was walking and I actually stepped over the scorpion without knowing it.

My niece saw the scorpion, I quickly put on some shoes, and you can guess the rest.

I don't think the scorpions around here are deadly, but they are still dangerous.

Just watch out for those murder-scorpions, though. Those are deadly…

Well, no wonder they’re so pist off…

Like many scorpions, the bark scorpion’s body glows when exposed to ultra violent light.

I think you should reward your niece with the junk food of her choosing.

After that, spend some quality time learning to identify the one you killed. And give her the opportunity to use a UV light, safely, under proper supervision.

this is going to be fun!

every time she finds a scorpion, she gets a reward

wont take long

Wanna hear something funny?

Whenever we kill an animal, like a mouse, rat, scorpion, or snake, we throw the body over a deck that we have.

The body drops about two stories, and wild animals eventually eat whatever we killed.

So we have an official area we use for a body drop.  :O

I don't know why, but that reminds me.

We have wild rabbits around here.

Both cottontails and jackrabbits.

My sister has trained my dog to kill small animals, and somehow he has killed at least two rabbits.

(He gets treats when he kills animals.)

So, of course, they went over the deck.  ;)

That’s pretty scary raccoon city!

I’d rather use my flashlight around the house than turn on the lights.

Ordered a set of 30T cells for the XT45. Now I have the 40T Molicel and the 30T cells. The Molicel’s have been doing great in my NSX3. lit myself on fire with my NSX3 last weekend. My sidearm hit the tail switch when I got into the car, I was like, what’s that smell and then the heat kicked in! OH! Its my pants burning. There go a pair of Helikon Tex shorts Sad Facepalm

Got my XT45 yesterday! It is an impressive flashlight for the price. The light output is great but man does it get hot quickly! it gets hot quicker then my NSX3A! The UI is a bit funny. I keep it on low when off and the next mode after low is high them medium, double tap for turbo then triple for strobe. Its stepping down after 20 seconds. The size is almost identical to my C8+ but a tad shorter. Its much nicer looking then the C8.

It’s a Sinner Customs light, bought it directly from them. He doesn’t have a site but he has an Instagram.
