Well, Joan from Spain; that's a lot of LEDs and a heck of a flashlight collection.  Awesome!

Wow! Welcome to BLF Joan. That is an impressively wide variety of lights that you have there. I think you will probably enjoy it here because you'll likely find even more lights to add to your collection. Enjoy!Laughing

Welcome to BLF, Jalbam.

I feel like I've just been punk'd.... I saw the first line of torches,

then kept scrolling,

and scrolling,

and scrolling,

and scrolling,

and scrolling,

and scrolling.....to finally end up at a quartet of ITP's!

BTW, was that a 5mm Nichia I saw modded into an iPod FM transmitter??

Very nice collectionLaughing

Welcome Jalbam. A very impressive collction... really. What did you have to promise your wife/girlfriend to "forgive" that house flashlight "infestation". Smile

Just because Joan is from Spain doesn't mean she he has a wife or girlfriend!  She He may, in fact, have both...

Howdy and welcome to the forums!

Looking at your collection, that boxy, lime-green, stamped-sheetmetal light is my favourite.

What is it, 2x D-cell or 4.5V flatpack?

Good cellphone choice, also! Wink

The same can be true everywhere i guess? I fail to realize the point.

Jalbeam is a she? Joan looks a very male name to me, at least in Spain. There was even a famous painter artist with that name...

Okay, I could be wrong.  In the U.S., Joan is usually female, but I don't know about Spain.  Joan might be male.  It's just that when I hear Joan, I automatically think "Joan of Arc".  Regardless, Welcome to BLF, jalbam!  You have an awesome flashlight collection.  I hope you enjoy your stay here.

Edit:  Darn it.  I am totally wrong.  I just googled jalbam and he is male.  Sorry Joan.

I needed time to realize the name Consuelo was a normal spanish female name time ago. Smile A very long time ago also felt a bit strange to me how the mostly US female name Coleen sounded. I would bet it was a male name like Collin at that time.

Spanish speaking countries have a few names that are prone to cause quite some confusion easily to the "uneducated". Like Rosario, Charo, Leonor, Lucinde, Lupe, Dulce, Milagros... A bit weird for non Spanish speakers eh? Smile

About Jeanne d'Arc... in my native language it's called Ivana Orleanska. Smile Beat that! XD

I thought the same that Joan was a woman which is how it is here in the states and even in the Philippines where I grew up.  He probably has the 2nd most lights I've seen here.  Don of course holds the BLF record with about 150 or so lights.

At the time he finishes counting and putting all of them together there must be a new one in the mailbox. Silly

Still jalbam is going very strong. Smile Stil wantto know what his better half is saying about the flashlights at home.

With that many lights--I don't think there's a better half.  LOL

I was compelled to say that.

Thank you all for your comments Big Smile

Hehehe I have thought about turn all of them on at same time, but I am lazy and at this time I don't have enough batteries for all of them Sad

I have no idea how many I have, I counted in pic… maybe 115? I have some others which are not in the pics, so maybe I have about 130 or so.

The flashlight attached to the iPod nano is a simple radio, not a transmitter, and I bought it (from DealExtreme or Focalprice, I can't remember clearly) like this including the led so it's not modded at all.

Thanks for all of that private messages asking me for marriage, but I am male Silly hehehe. I know Joan is female name in other places, but here it's not. Joan is Catalan language, in Spanish would be Juan, and in other languages Jean, Ivan, John… Smile The famous painted you meant is Joan Miró.

My girlfriend is often annoyed because of me buying so many flashlights so I had to stop a little bit Silly haha. She always ask why do I want and need so many. She claims she really hate them. So if I continue buying them maybe one day there won't be a better half Big Smile hehehe.

That old lime-green flashlight uses a 4.5v battery (I think it's called 3R12, right?).

I am glad to found this great forum with great people.

Cheers,

 Joan
