When I joined this forum 4 weeks ago, I had a Surefire G2 with a Cree P60 dropin, a couple $6 Ozark Trail spotlight lantern battery lights, and some 9 LED lights my work gave to me.
Ya, that TK70 is too good to be true. I might click the buy button too if I don’t own any TK70.
I hope I won’t hit 200 flashlights either. With about 20 lights only, I found myself neglecting some lights for quite some time, not enough time to play with all of them. Start doing modding on some lights might help so that we won’t keep purchasing too many lights.
Gords1001 is putting together a thread with lots of DIY topics but if you ask a question you’ll get an answer or a link to what you need. Have you looked over the stickies in the DIY section?
. that NZ sharpshooter guy has mental issue someone should lock him up before another accident waiting to happen ?
thats just normal getting addicted to flashlights. i see alot of people get addicted to worse things, i keep mine to max of 5 torches i either give away or sell it before i have more then 5. just to keep sanity and money in my pocket for other things.
I’ve got all the torches for this year in transit. That’s just 4 of them and not one of them over £12. I had a word with myself yesterday after seeing another basket of toys building. I’m now focussing on the task that brought me here, to build a kick ass bike light, learn some electronics (remember my physics lessons!) and practice skills such as soldering etc.
you’re no where near ‘sick’ yet. wait until you start spending on modding and try to figure out where money went but why you haven’t accumulated as many torches!
