Need to complete my "collection" of flashlights.

Hey !

Im not really a flashaholic, i do love flashlight, but i only have a few, about 10.
I got a keychain flashlight, which is a Thrunite TI. I love it…
Then i have a EDC which is a Nitecore EC2. Love this one to.
Then i have a bigger flashlight, a Nitecore MH25. Yesterday when i was in the cold. I had problems with my Nitecore MH25, since it takes about 5secs for it to save the Mode you are in.
And i need to turn the Head for it to get to Turbo Mode. This was very annoying, not sure why, its just is… And i have other problems with it, but im not very good at explaining so… So im happy with this light, only the UI sucks hard… So this one will be getting a place on the shelf. Very sad that the UI sucks, since i love everything about this light… But i just cant get used to the UI…

So im looking for a new flashlight. About the size of the MH25 (_ -Length: 160mm. -Head Diameter: 40m. -Tail Diameter: 25.4mm_)
Most important is that it Should have around 700lumens and up. A good throw but good spill to(i prefer better throw then the MH25). The rest doesnt matter. A holster would be good. Price range is: 50-60$. I could go a bit higher to get what i want.

I have looked on the Crelant 7G6CS, but it have two switches, not sure if this will be annoying?..

I know i did thread about this before, but i wasnt really sure about what i wanted. But now when i have experience with the Nitecore MH25 i know its not what i really want… Thank you guys and girls ! looking forward to read your reaplies (if i get any…)

Take a look at the Fenix PD32UE. I’m finding more and more that I’m liking dual switch systems.
I don’t know anyone else that has this light, but I really like my Niteye TS20. A beautiful torch any way you look at it.

I just got my crelant, but im liking it a lot. If the ui is the same as the 7g2cs, you can program the 2 modes to whatever, and strobe and sos are hidden.

I will look those up. Thank you !

I know about the UI on the Crelant CS series. But as you turn it of on the Tailswitch it will reset the mode. And if you only use the Sideswitch you can only use 40% of it maximum output. And if you want maximum output, you must use Tailswtich and reset it.

The 7g2cs doesn’t seem to do that… I think the modes are preset to 100 and 40%, but you can program either to what ever you want. And there’s also a standby mode, but not sure how much perastic drain there is on it.

"Head Diameter: 40m"

Wow, that's a big head. :P

A flashlight collection is never complete.

How about a HD2010 ?

Haha xD

Collecting fervor and technological advances will always make it so.

Really? :open_mouth: ive seen an heard that if you press the tailswitch it resets. Weird indeed

it does reset the saved settings back to stock. i was referring to only get 40% output using the side switch

To big head i think.

Oh i see.

I’m ordering one this week… Has anyone got any complaints and is it a decent thrower???

Why not just get an xintd c8? 3 modes on the tailcap, choice of tints, what more could you want?

I have one. No complaints here, it does have some good throw with a nice hot spot and good spill. I really like the side switch.

Do you think it outthrows my Nitecore MH25? If thats the case, im buying the 7G6CS.

I really dont like the look. It looks like my Ultrafire C8. Very booring to look at and use. :stuck_out_tongue:
