Trustfire TR-3T6 measurements and questions

Hi!
Im new to this forum and to real flashlights, and im not from a englishspeaking land, so bear with me :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve ordered the Trustfire TR-3T6 2500lm from DX due to the cheap price and good reviews, and I’m so excited! I have always wanted a cool flashlight with a huge light, and this is my first one.
The other lights of my ownerships have been small ones, so i cant wait to get the Tr-3t6!

After hours of researching about this torch and reading about it, i have some questions.

First of, my orders:

- *TrustFire TR-3T6 *XM-L T6 5-Mode 2500LM Memory (2 x 18650 / 3 x 18650)

- TrustFire Protected 18650 3.7V “3000mAh” (2500maAh) Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries

I’ve seen readings of how much amps this torch draw:

Hig: 1,6
Mid: 0,9
Low: 0,3

And i’ve read that those measurements are for 1 led and you have to multiplie with 3 due to the 3 leds on the torch?

1. To calculate the runtime on High, mid and low on 3 batteries, do i calucalte like this:
On high: 2500mAh*3 (7500mAh) / (1,6 amps*3) = 1,5 hours?
On mid: 7500mAh / (0,9A*3) = 2,7 hours?
On low: 8,3 hours?

I know this is theoretical, and the batteries shuts down before it reaches 0, but is my thinking right, or way out on the field? :stuck_out_tongue:

2. The headline on DX on the same torch says 3600lm on AU Direct, and 2500lm on worldwide. The torch is the same. Why is this?
It also says “actual lm 1650” on the worldwide alternative, but not on the AU Direct… Does the torch on AU Direct have another “motherboard” that let it consume more power? Is it more powerful?

3. Funny thought, can i screw, lets say, two more extention tubes on it for the usage of 5 batteries for longer runtime?
It says the tourch uses from 3-12V. I presume the different modes uses different voltage. Do you multiplie the voltage of the 3 batteries togehter (3,7V*3) and get about 11,7V to the lamp, so 5 batteries would give the torch 18,5V, which is too much? Or is it just 3,7V all the way? (which would be strange because on high-mode it probably needs about 12 vols :stuck_out_tongue: )

Im new to this, so any answer would really be appreciated
