Matt i got one of those tr-801 from joe also thats a pretty nice light and man that thing gets warm fast measured the 1.75a at the tail. The beam is kinda blue but looks like with a xml in it it would be a nice floody light. Looks like it takes a 16mm led and a 17mm driver. Dont know why its not more popular except maybe for being an older light.

Yeah, I like em too.   I had one years ago, and when I saw one in the USA for 6 bucks I had to grab it.   I think mine is gonna go to an XM-L2 in 5000k  with about a 2.8A driver Smile ZOOOOOOOOOM
