Both the items were on sale at the Xmas sale.

I have an intellicharger i2 coming from manafont. Hope it will be not a fake. I will update at the end of the month (hope it will arrive by that date…)
Hopefully the i4’s from wallbuys aren’t fake, if they are then… I’ve got a new charging cradle for my smart charger! Mine hasn’t seemed to have any issues so far, charged up the three included xtar 18700’s (Hopefully not fake) to 4.16-8 (pulled one early) and my two trustfires to 4.18 with not much heat.
Still until I hear anything I might keep it on the back burner and go back to my cradle for a bit, heck of a lot faster too (I charge at 1.3-1.5a for most cells but I only go up to about 4.17v; accucel keeps them from overdoing it and I’ve rarely had cells get warm.).
Might just make me crack open the wallbuys i4 to see what’s in it though.
It looks like they seized some lights as well.
Sad news, but probably a more common occurrence then we think.
To find out if the batteries are ok you can strip the wrap and see which cell is in it…
They never said the nitecore i4’s were fake, they were probably just in the same shipment and were opened up.
Xtar is the only product mentioned as fake.
Not worried at all.

It is 99% sure that all Xtar products bought from China are fakes. All other sellers than Xtar itself sells fake products because Xtar doesn’t have any retailers in China. This particular video is shooted in bestvaping.net raid.

Well, not exactly, actually Xtar mentioned that there were also other brand name products seized/present during raid, so its unclear whether those were copies or originals.
I doubt if Xtar would take too much interest in fake Nitecore, or any other products they didn’t own.
I agree with Kreisler - if it is shown that Bestvaping (aka Efest, aka Powerwholesale, aka ShenZhen E-Young Technology, etc) are involved, we should stop doing business with them.
Funny, but I remember Boaz asking some time ago why this company traded under so many names. Perhaps we have a hint now why. Not that I am jumping the gun or anything, you understand.

What a brazen bunch of worthless lying hypocrites. Money talks when the correct hands are greased. The extremely limited enforcement in the sale of counterfeit products is mostly there for political appearances. Real enforcement is an impossible endeavor, given that a huge part of China/HK’s economy is based upon it. Many have proudly made it a way of life and most see absolutely nothing wrong with it. Their rules of trade ethics are clearly not in the same league as the rest of the free world. The large scale copy-cats have laughed at national/international copyright infringement laws for years and bragged publicly about their overwhelming successes. Copyright enforcement and the limited confiscation of fake goods? What a total crock of stinking pure BS.
Banning them??? Why?
What about all the others sellers we buy from. I wouldn’t doubt that the usual sellers we buy from all carry fake products.
I have an Xtar WP2 I got from DD. I was never all that impressed with it. It seemed cheap and didn’t come with any instructions. I wonder if it is fake.
Do you think the ebay deal of nitecore charger + torch + battery deal which showed up today on ebay has anything to do with stolen or maybe trying to dump counterfeit goods fast ?
Saw some high quality flashlight in cases in the end of the video.
Some of them have taken the biat and ordered lets see what shows up or maybe that was purely a scam.

I bought my charger from an American retailer. I hope that means it’s legit!
i bought 3 nitecore i4 chargers on the wallbuys christmas sale. one of the the three is defective. the charging indicator lights do not light at all. please someone tell us how to tell a fake from the real thing. the other two chargers seem to work fine cutoff at 4.18-4.19v.
