If any of you are interested in the Defiant Super Thrower, I have my modded one, if you want it. See the build thread here and the original thread here for all the information.

I modded it to fill the hollow pill and changed to a 12x7135 driver. It only has High and Medium modes. It cycles through low, but does not output in low. The switch has been changed to a Judco 5 amp switch. The light is complete and working. I will include the original driver and switch. It needs 3 C Alkalines or NiMH, unless you mod it further. The tube will not fit a 26650 without boring it out.

Hi Justin, my bad! Glad you got it sold. Had a hard time convincing Mrs Orion. But it was a mod by OldLumens for Christ’s sake! Congrats to the new owner too!

got my hands on the light today (came yesterday)

Even with the low mode missing its a serious light!

Maybe one day ill try taking a crack at it… but probably not.

You could just cut across the solder bridge on the driver (with an exacto blade), so that it was back in original modes, H/M/L/strobe/SOS. It’s a thought…

It really is a great light. I had to go buy another one!

Yeah if you do an sst90 in it I may have to buy that one too!
