ThruNite Scorpion - buying

What is the difference between Chinese production reportedly cost $ 85, at an auction that I bought here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-ThruNite-Scorpion-750-Lumen-Flashlight-with-XM-L-T6-LED-Hunting-Torch-/251221541148?pt=US_Flashlights&hash=item3a7df8811c
and this one, which costs $ 118 and is not a Chinese-made: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ThruNite-Scorpion-750-Lumen-Flashlight-with-XM-L-T6-LED-Hunting-Torch-/251202008040?pt=US_Flashlights&hash=item3a7cce73e8

Is the difference in quality or something else?

thanks and regards

Same light, same seller which is the manufacturer. The higher priced auction has a place for you to offer a lower price, offer $75 or some amount less than $85 and you will probably get it for less than $85.

They are both made in China. They are both Thrunite Scorpions. They are both being sold from the Thrunite_Store. One is the ” buy it now” price, the other is the starting price for auction bidding.

yes, but it is interesting that it is written in the first that Chinese production, and I bought it for $ 85, and the second is left out … intentionally or by accident?
Does this mean that they are both good quality?

But all are selling for the opening bid of $85 and plenty more are going unsold at $85, offer less than $85 and see what happens. You should be able to get at least $5 off.

They are both made in China. You are buying directly from the manufacturer Thru-Nite, they make the light in China. None are made in the USA. They have a US warehouse in California and ship from there or from Singapore.

Yours will ship from Singapore, US warehouse only ships to US and Canada.

If it is the same product, does that mean that I went cheaply, if I bought at auction for $ 85?

Good price.

Thanks, I first buy and then wonder how I passed …

Interestingly enough, when I bought a couple on auction from the Thru_Nite Store, the return address was from Craig at Illumination Supply.
