I haven’t really checked all over, but how’s $115 / free shipping?

I think, I read a post, where he will soon offer the U3 version…U3 is as bright as a XM-L2 U2.

One more question.

How does this one compare to the Terminator? Give me your thoughts for quality vs bang for your buck.

If you want to spend ~200 i would wait for more triple xml2 lights. Bs terminator is almost half the price…. Imo the terminator is one of the best bangs for the buck you cam buy

Going gear has the U3 version in stock. It’s a little bit higher – $135 shipped with discount – but it’s domestic, so quick arrival, and his customer service is excellent.

I think doingoutdoor has the best price for now. There is a thread running wherein they are advertising $110 for the U2 version, all you need is to PM them. My two just arrived today in record time of four days from China to the Philippines. I have yet to claim it at the post office but I’m impressed of their fast shipping. Free EMS shipping for orders above $240 too! Smile

My g/f got my U3 version from.
http://www.md-lightsource.com/main.sc
He’s out of stock right now, but he said more is on the way.
10% discount codes: blf or buyit
Price should drop to $135.00 free shipping, that’s what I got mine for.
Authorized USA dealer. I think he operates out of Texas.
Outstanding service.

After toying with the terminator at the cottage all weekend I must say….WOW. Brightest light I have owned and it continued to blow the minds of all of my friends and people who saw it. For its size, it is unbeatable I think.

work, what work?

Started my morning looking in a mad frenzy for the best price shipped on the BS Terminator U3.

And I have forgotten my burning interest in the BTU Shocker temporarily – can I assume the BS would out flood & throw the BTU?

I will start working at 12pm, promise.

gosh, after hearing all this buzz of the terminator as of late, kinda makes me want one now too. i have always been on the hunt for a multiple xml greater than 3xmls since i already have the king.
i almost bought the 9xmls but passed on them.

how come i cant find any comparison shots with the terminator and the king? does anyone have both to share?
is the terminator like really noticable brighter than the king? and how about the flood and spill?

Word of advice to those thinking of getting one on the cheap.  Order it ASAP!  A little birdie told me BS was aware of some of the great pricing and was planning on contacting those dealers to stop them from selling so far below the dealer prices.

JohnnyMac, now you are making me want a second one. I can’t get over how bright this thing is. And how well made it is. And how good it looks haha.

I have one small issue with it. I don’t like scrolling through the 3 modes to turn it off . If it had a slightly better UI I would be pumped. BUT, that is a small issue for me. This light is freakin’ awesome.

I can totally understand that.  If I had to find a flaw with the light it would be just that.  If you need it off in a hurry you could just give the body a quick twist but once you get used to it you just click it 2 or 3 times real quick to turn it off depending on what mode you are in.  It really doesn't bother me but I can see why it would bother others.

Having spent hours with this light... I love it.  Four things I truly hope they improve on. Although even just the first two would make it a no brainer purchase;

1. Reduce the brightness of the green and red leds in the power button.

2. Add memory, or have it always turn on into a single mode.

3. Allow turning off by a long press, and opposed to having to cycle through the modes.  (Double tap or two double taps for any blink modes.  On that note... I wish more lights would have beacon mode.  It's a lot of fun.)

4. A tailcap switch, so you no longer need to twist the battery carrier for lockout.

I'll still grab the u3 version... the quality of this light is truly impressive.
