How to calibrate GT Power X charger C6 aka B606

Hello guys,

I just got a GT power X charger C6, it charges battery but the LCD voltage indicator is off. Like on the LCD screen it says the Lipo is 4.2 Volts (considered full charge) on my Fluke its only 4.15V . I would like it to have a more accurate reading.

I know the Turnigy accucell can be calibrated, I tried the same prodcedure but doesn’t work.

4.2/4.15 = 1.012 = 1.2%. They are probably both within their allowed error band but you can get a voltage reference chip like REF05 or some type of bandgap reference from online hobbyist supply places and use it to check your meter.

For this application 0.1 out of 4.2 = 2% accuracy may be sufficient.

BTW, accuracy and resolution are not the same.
I think the NIST Website has a tutorial explaining this and it can get pretty involved if the meter is not at least 5x more accurate than what accuracy your application requires and digital meter accuracy specs can be ambiguous.
If your meter reads 4.15v @ 1% accuracy it probably means that 95% of the time the true voltage will be approximately between 4.19 & 4.11.
