Charger in Lidl

Hey guys, i just posted the same in the gear subforum, then i remembered there’s a chargers one… sorry for duplicating, but i thought it cold be usefol for someone:

In case someone’s interested, I picked a quick charger in Lidl Germany today for 16 Euro or so. 8 bays (of those, 6 for aa/aaa), no li-ion batteries, but since i only use nimh, not at problem (well, i do have lifepo, but i have a dedicated charger for those). Bulky, but build quality seems ok, one led for each battery shows status and a screen shoes progress (just bars, no voltage). No switches, no options, just drop the batteries in. My two previous chargers died last week, so this was just in time. Checked prices on amazon and chinese websites but they were not cheaper. They had nimh batteries too, but most of my medion are still working, so i didn’t pick any.

die ganze Website ist auf deutsch! :frowning:

I thought Lidl only sold groceries. . .

I have this one . It works ok.They sell also good quality cheap LSD batteries.

Flacomuchacho - you mentioned that you checked prices, did you check them for THIS exact charger or for similar chargers?
Im curious whether it can be bought at a similar price from Chinese vendors? Where did you see it there?

Hi Vēer,
nope, i didn’t find this exact one, thought i actively tried. I’m pretty sure that it must be available trough alibaba, because that’s where i’ve found aldi/lidl stuff before. I checked on different websites , and ngshopping (in case you don’t know it, it’s a price comparison site for chinese webs, useful sometimes), amazon and ebay, but i didn’t find the same model/ a different one with the same specs and same price. Since both my chargers died on the same week i decided to get a product with warranty in case it followed their way :expressionless:
I admit i din’t check lidl’s website, had i seen the model Damian linked…. i kinda like the design a little bit more, and the usb port might come handy sometimes… (this last sentence is both true and a crappy joke for the german speakers).

Ok, thanks!
