New 26650 Zoomie at DX

I went over to DX (It's been a while) to look for a driver and stumbled onto this :

26650 Zoomie

There aren't that many 26650 zoomies around, so I thought I'd share. Wink

Welcome the night.

looks like a keygos m12, but at a better price.

if it is the same that’s a great deal. Big pill. all 3 of mine pulled over 3 amps stock. lens is wider than most (except zyc10s and uft20). I haven’t found a glass one that is a good replacement yet.

Thanks, I didn’t make the connection. The real Keygos M12 is on for $19.39 right now, which isn’t bad either.

Welcome the night.

I bought the Ultrafire Zoom flashlight from Wallbuys. It cost only $10,78 at the moment. Standard price $12,93.
If you watch die video on the wallbuys homepage switch off the sound (the music quality is worse).

It pulls 2,4Ampere (18650 Samsung with 3,98V – I will charge some batteries today and will edit the Ampere with a full charged battery tomorrow).

Light up the darkness.

The draw to this one for me was 26650 support. Now I’m torn between the UF (slightly lower price) and Keygos (proven quality)…
BTW, I snagged four of those 18650 zoomies at $5.98 each during the New Year sale Wink nice flooders.
Edit: Removed link in quote.

Welcome the night.

sounds like an easy decision if keygos doesn’t charge much for shipping.

I imagine relic would already know this but if anybody else gets one, there is a thread here on disassembly, and you’ll want to at least remove the retaining ring to check the emitter for thermal compound and replace the zoom tension/splitring (steel) with an o-ring.

Keygos proven quality is no more, i received an M10 with many deficiencies, and the driver spring fell off 2 days later (i was going to replace it anyways).
I’ll post in the review thread all of its deficiencies.

Also that does look interesting, but this one is also 26650 and glass lens (but not new, so it may be quality challenged by now), the driver should be easily upgraded

Wallbuys was banned for posting, but I wasn’t aware that we are forbidden to link to them or mention them or their sales.

Are you sure about that? Maybe a link?

you can post whatever you want about wallbuys, they are banned but we are free to comment their products or whatever we want.
The OP asks about a 26650 light, but yours is not, just a mistake I suppose, but, again, feel free to post your deals or experiences with wb whenever you want

You are thinking about post 4, I didn’t link to a sale or product, I only asked about whether linking to them had been banned.

Thanks tivo532 and Bort, those look virtually identical. Too bad they do not have the 4xAAA holder instead.
I still prefer the look of the UF 009 / Keygos M12. I have extra 26650s looking for homes Wink

Welcome the night.
