SOLD!: 400+ OTF lumen, Trusfire TR-801 Pocket thrower.PRICE DROP!

Hi everyone,

I picked up a TR801 because I like the body on them. This one has some of my favorite upgrades. The factory emitter is gone and has been replaced by a de-domed XML U2. The tint was 1C but as you may know de-doming brings it a shade toward neutral ( about 5200K in this case). The driver has also been replaced with one of my 2.8A boards complete with the Adventure Sport Flashlights™ UI.

The UI consists of 4 groups.

  1. Ramp mode low to high with memory.
  2. Low 2, Med 25, High 100% with memory.
  3. High 100, Med 25, Low 2%, Srobe, SOS, Beacon, NO memory.
  4. High 100, Low 15.

The light will come preset to your choice of group if needed.
Mode groups are switched by 8 fast clicks <.25 sec.
The driver has a low voltage flash at 3V to protect li-ion cells.
Upon entering the beacon mode there is a battery indicator flash. The light will quickly flash 1 time for each 0.1V above 3V and then enter the beacon mode.

The de-dome and hard drive current give this little puppy usable light at well over a hundred yards, and has beam casting that are visible at 200+ yards.

I use flat top cells in this and I am not sure a protected cell will fit ( I dont have any) The longest button top cell I have is 66.93mm and it does fit.

Price is $59>$49 shipped! SOLD!

I think you’ve got a good one. I love the UI

BTW vesture, thanks again for the sinkpads.

Haha, yeah, I needed some 20mm boards and decided to pick up a neat light while I was there.

I like the way you think. Cheers to the 20’s!

8 clicks within 0.25sec to change among mode groups? How to do that?

.25 seconds or less between clicks, repeated 8 times.

comfychair is correct. You just push it 8 times real fast to change the group. This way you never accidentally change groups.

comfychair order shipped :)

Dang, this little light defies the known laws of physics... Wider spill than a p60 reflector, but about 1/3 more throw? It's better all-around, indoors AND outdoors, somehow even with that stumpy little OP reflector. And it's not just the de-domed XML, cause I already swapped that for a XPG2 on a cut-down Sinkpad, and it's if anything even better. What's going on here?
