Watching many of these reviews. I am always amazed & amused with how critical some are of these lights. The recent postings about the Blackshadow Terminator comes to mind. It makes me believe common sense should be reclassified as a super power. Now barring a defective light or some idiot who squashs his emitters with a heat shield. We have all the resources right at our fingertips to tell us what A light will or will not do. Here’s where common sense eludes many. They see 3500 lumens & instantly pop a big rubbery one. Oh this light gonna do this & that… Its gonna smoke all these other lights. Not factoring in other major variables that are crucial to performance. Looking at my Terminator… I love this little light. Reflectors are a huge part of a lights performance. Now will 4 thimble sized reflectors compete with a HUGE plunger reflector with similar lumens? Not even close, nor was it in tended to. Anyone with more than a few days in this forum knows this. People use your heads for something other than a hatrack… Look at the specs & light design. You’ll have a pretty good idea of how a light will perform… This concludes my daily rant thank you for reading.
I had a good idea of how this light would perform and I went by others pictures as examples.
I’ll get mine in the proper dark tonight - well, as dark as it gets around here - and see what it looks like.
Around my neighborhood it is pants in my opinion.
I know flaslights are horses for courses, I have enough to know that and each one serves its own purpose. This one just seems to not do anything massively well.
Chris looking at your inside pic. I believe something may be amiss with yours. Thats why I included any defective lights… I was the idiot who crushed my emitters on my BTU. LOL

Agree with you 100% Dale. The Terminator is a great “little” light. It is almost half the size of a lot of the lights that others are comparing it to. For its size I think the Terminator holds it own. It does what it is suppose to do and it does it well.
And what about all the people whinging about the handle on the Terminator? HEY PEOPLE! The handle is what makes the Terminator! Don’t want a stinkin’ handle, folks? Buy a SkyRay King! Burn your little tootsies off after a few inferior minutes on warp factor 9.
+1 I think the handle is a neat feature. The quality on this light is amazing. Just don’t understand all the b*tching… Like some sewing circle.
If guts had periods… They’d brag about the size of their tampons… LOL
The only thing I wish my Terminator had was memory.
Other than that, it’s a hell of a light.

If anyone is not happy with there light I'd be more than happy to take it of there hands. I'm also one that is critical on flashlights that dont have memory and then I thought about it, I'm glad I'm not a flashlight. Cheers guys, i wish i could have one. Oh well.
Flashlight nirvana is sitting in a pitch-dark space and not desiring any form of light. :bigsmile:
