LEDDNA.com ***RESOLVED/UPDATED***

I hate being a jerk but here’s the email I just sent to LEDDNA which details what I have been going through the last 3 & 1/2 months.

Dammit! I just want them to respond to me. How hard is that???

LEDDNA,

Your inability to respond to my numerous inquiries is unacceptable. I have been very patient with you and ask you to respond.

To summarize:

• My order #5275, for total value of $47 placed December 1, 2012 has not been received as of March 14th, 2013.
• On December 6th, 2012, I received confirmation by email that order #5275 was shipped however no additional email was received detailing the tracking number.
• I have not received any reply to my attempts to contact you on January 17th, 25th, February 1st, March 5th on your website.
• I have not received any reply to my attempts to contact you on February 18th & 22nd by email (leddna@ymail.com).
• I am requesting you to provide me with atracking number, re-send the order if it hasn’t been sent, or refund me USD47.00, the value of my original order.

As a member of BLF & CPF (budgetlightforum.com and candlepowerforums.com) I feel it is my responsibility to inform my community the type of non-responsive behavior and dealings with your company should you decide not to resolve this issue in a timely manner.

*******UPDATE – 3/15/2013*********

Billy from LEDDNA has responded to me by email and refunded my Paypal account for my order. His excuse for not replying to me was my emails was sent to his spam folder. He also pointed out that the order was shipped and provided a tracking number. I responded to him advising him that the tracking number he provided was for a previous order and the contents of said order was not in the package. I believe this could have been an honest mistake on his part as the 2 orders were placed so close together. I have to give him the benefit of the doubt. I also advised him to get his emails in order as it will affect his sales when clients can’t reach them.

Dear Billy,

I appreciate you getting back to me and resolving this issue by refunding my Paypal account today.

The package I received on December 27th (tracking #RB961423047HK) only had the contents of my order #5273, dated 11/27/2012 (10 x XP-G R5, 16mm base) and did not include the contents of order #5275, dated 11/30/2012 (5 x XM-L U3 & 5 XP-G G2). I believe this may have been an honest mistake on your part. I also recall that the XM-L U3 was not available until January hence my inquiry regarding shipping time on your website posted January 17, 2013 as copied below.

17th Jan 2013 @ 3:18 AM You Said:
Hi – I understand one of the LED was not going to be available till January. Can you tell me when you will send this order? Also if you can provide tracking number as well.

I hope you remedy your email spam folder issues as I can see how this could potentially hurt your sales.

Regards,

Shane

Sorry to hear that, Big.  That really sux on their part.  If you are like me $47 is a lot of money.  At this point I don't think I'd even want the goods.  Just gimme my $47 back and go screw yourselves! I can't imagine any excuse whatsoever for their lack of response.  Have you checked your junk mail or SPAM folder?

I'm sure someone here will make excuses for them and tell you to relax.  It sure won't be me.  Flat Stare

Keep us updated, please.

That sucks. Emails from Chinese companies do have a tendency to end up in junk mail, and I think I’ve heard on the odd occasion firewalls may interfere, more likely they’re just not responding because it’s been put in their “too hard” basket. Thanks for the heads up, I know to avoid them.

Edit: are they Chinese? Couldn’t find any information on their company, not a good sign.

If you paid with a credit or debit card, even a Paypal credit card, you can file a dispute with your cc company. That claim period is 30 or 90 days after it appears on your STATEMENT, not your transaction date. Not receiving goods is a 100% reason, as long as your claim is timely and you file the proper paperwork. If it is fraud, the time limit may start on the date you discover the fraud, so call your cc company security dept and ask. I won’t buy anything through Paypal without using a CREDIT card for the transaction for the added security protection. If I don’t get the goods within 30 days, I cancel the transaction, not my problem. If the goods arrive and there is good faith they’ll get paid.

Yes they are a Chinese company shipping out of Hong Kong. They usually have the best/cheaper prices for the XML emitters but usually the 1C / 1A color variants. I have bought from them 4 other times previously with no issues until my last order.

Makes sense, the very thought that treating their customers badly (including frequent customers) could lose them business doesn’t seem to register sometimes with these companies, just the money they make “in the now”.Pretty stupid on their part.

Glad that got worked out. It always sucks having your money tied up for extended periods of time. (unless it’s in the bank gaining interest)

It looks like the word is out… avoid leddna at all costs. With so many great resellers to chose from today, this is one that needs to find the bottom of the Marianas Trench faster than a sinking ton of lead.
