anyone tried: PALIGHT M900 zoom flashlight

My only reservation is it comes with a 26650 cell & charger which may not be very good.

I like zoomies and I have been thinking about buying that one. It looks really nice. what I liked was the beam shots. NO RING. You can get it a little cheaper from Fast Tech and they are very fast shippers.

If you do buy don’t forget the coupon.

I should have the one from fasttech anyday now, hopefully tomorrow, although since USPS is now in the habit of just dropping off notices as opposed to actually attempting package delivery, most likely monday.

im still looking for a 26650 thats bright while in flood mode…dunno if this is the one. from what i read, the m12 is best. you may wanna take a look at that

M12? Do you have a link? The only M12 I could find is this one:

there might be cheaper places though

Actually received package today! It was waiting for me when I got home.

The Zoomie is of a higher quality than we see from cheaper $10 18650 ones.

Very, very, strange mode arrangement. Noise from the driver. Driver does have memory, but it doesn't seem to work every time.

Not super bright... I was expecting more.

Machining and finish are OK, but not great.

I think with a new driver this zoomie would do well, but stock, I would stay away from it, considering the price, and stick to the $10 18650 versions.

shame they don’t sell it on its own with out the battery etc as it looks pretty compact, would probably be half the price without battery and charger as well

I tried it out, outside a bit. I'm not impressed.

I asked a friend to swap out the driver, and push the LED to the max possible. The throw on it, give that it is an aspheric, is kind of anemic. Should make for a decent flooder once it's modded though.

It did come in a nice box, but I 100% agree, for this light I would have much rather paid less, and have gotten just the light itself with no crappy battery, spacer, or cheapo $.99 charger.

thanks for the heads up, i almost just bought this light

but when looking at beam shots on fasttech’s site, it looks bright as heck.
i know its hard to tell from companys pictures, but i looked at some lights that i have, that fast tech was selling, and i used those pictures for comparison. i think they take the beamshots on the same white wall at same distance…no?

You'd have to ask FT about how they take their pictures. I'm just reporting on my impressions, and the zoomie palight was not very impressive.

The $10 sipiks are a better option imo.

It is a nice compact light though. I do admire its simplicity. Too bad it comes with the extras and is underdriven…like most XM-L zoomies.

I don't know that I would call any 22650 light particularly compact. Unfortunately after having tried it, I'm going to err on the side of sticking to 18650 lights.

Maybe I'll change my mind after it's modded, but I doubt it.

ok sounds good. i already have one of those $10 sk98 clones. which is actually being modded by tom E currently.
i should be happy with that for now then.

i have M12… and it’s uh… sucks… :Sp from all my zoomies, UF-T20 is the brightest one ( although the flood isn’t as wide as most zoomies )

oh ok, thats good to know, ill pass on the m12 then, and i already have a modded uf t20, so i guess im set for zoomies haha
and i do wish the flood was bigger…

this is probably the smallest 18650 zommie we can get right?

yeah… but the beam is horrible for the price… if it wasn’t for discount that I had ( I paid $17 for it ) I would never buy it

really so bad? is possible yet to get the discount?
