ThruNite is going to stop producing the TN30!!

Hey guys I have some pretty significant news from David the owner of ThruNite.

He claims that they will no longer make the TN30 flashlight in either version. Am I the only one that thinks this is a bad idea?

You should have asked if they are planning a new model to replace it…

I'm working on it, you have to be super patient with ThruNite. I hope they are too.

Trust me, it is like pulling teeth. There is a serious language barrier. He also seems to respond when he likes to. Even when I say I want to order 10 more TN31s.

I'll try and talk to him tomorrow and find out what they are planning.

My money is on the replacement being a rechargeable light with XM-L2.

How long has the TN30 been in production? A year? That’s probably the life of a cutting edge light these days. Technology changes, and Thrunite are pretty quick to change things. Mind you, the new Archer and Saber models are simply emitter upgrades, so maybe the “new” TN30 won’t be that different, but I bet it will be rechargeable.
