Battery Analyzer - West Mountain Radio CBA

I came across one of these http://www.cpfreviews.com/WestMountainRadio-CBA-II.php for what I considered too good a price to pass up. So, I bought it to test cells with.

It should allow for duplicating the current levels seen with various drivers to get a better idea of what cells will do in real world application. (I had been disappointed with my earlier hobby charger only discharging at 1amp max.).

So my question is - anybody got one and if so got any hints, tips etc?

I did my early battery tests with one.

Generally it does a fairly good job, but you have to watch out for the connector and the wires, to keep a low impedance. Any resistance in the connector or wires will give a false higher voltage reading.

To get the best battery connection use a clamp, not magnets or cradles.
