I sure wish the head was as wide as it looks like it should be. At only 70mm it's only a tad wider than an HD2010. So much potential with just a few changes!
Whoa! 70mm head, single emitter deep reflector, easy 10x7135 Nanjg swap! Oh oh wait... butt electronic switch... phew, lucky break for my wallet. That was close :P
@ pulsar13: Where is the electronic switch? I cannot see it.
And to the guys who wants a bigger head? So do I. But the cost would take it completely out of my league price vise. @ 50 it could be the best poor mans thrower ever when considering that it is 4p1s battery setup which means I can put older, more cycled cells in this light rather than also having to splurge on 4 new batteries as well.

I think you guys are right… that’s probably a normal clicky switch, which is reasonable since listed current rating is only 1.8A.
Unmodded, this will be a spectacularly underperforming light for the price. But of course – it’s the modding potential that hooks. Wonder who’ll cave in first.
Interesting. 86mm head? Wow!

Oh dear me! I am enhusiastic about this already.
Deeper head than the Apex for a deep yet wide reflector.
My wife is gonna kill me now. And I blame you _ the _ LOL!
Must mod, must mod, must mod mod mod mod!!

The head is only 70mm I think. The 86mm is probably at its widest => the handle.

put a side switch right under the leading edge of that handle, make it black and I’d pay much more than they’re asking 0:)
Are you mind reading or something?
Edit: Another option is of course XP-G2 on SinkPad.. Just saying..

You’re probably right. There are couple of Ultrafire 1226’s on aliexpress and the description says: “Size(mm): 175(L)X70X65”
Love the design, hate the color, switch replacement and tiny head. Make it 100 mm + black + sideswitch
That looks cool... If Manafont will get this one, then I know what I'm using my points toward...
Keepin’ the “B” in BLF

Wondering about this for a MT-G2 … CW should come out soon…
Flomotion
interesting… if it was 4p1s i would be interested in building a runtime hog… im sure it could be converted
We can't really tell for sure if it's 4S1P or 2S2P can we? DX specs says 8.4v, but you can't trust that.

I’ve been waiting for this! Now how lift the current flashlight embargo…..
if 4p, would need to mod battery config or find a 3A+ boost driver. Aside from big money for a taskled driver, there is not such beast afaik.
From aliexpress I can see it is parallel battery config. 4P1S.

That (4p) with an electronic switch on the side… I’d buy it instantly and swap the driver.
I know what you mean, some of these sites make it darn difficult to figure out their photo links! I've learned a few tricks recently.

You can probably count on it being the normal 5 mode driver with pseudo-direct drive on high, somewhere around 2.5A
4.5a xp-g2 on sinkpad, awesome thrower. 8)
