bike mount

Hi, I'm looking for a bike mount for a single AA flashlight. I'm not sure which one, because I haven't ordered the light, but will do so today. I would like one that swivels from left to right, and has a way to quickly dismount from the holster. I'm sure I don't want the fenix mount, after reading the reviews on amazon, I've found out that you cannot quickly dismount it, and that people say it rattles. I think that is unacceptable for $12. Maybe I was spoiled with the mount for my old Cateye HL-EL500, which had a simple but great mounting system.

that link came up as a malicious website

I have no recommendation for a bike mount, but have you thought about upgrading your Cateye? I have the HL-1500 and modded it with a XP-E Q5 and the AK-47 driver. It has almost the same beam pattern as the halogen bulb but is now a lot brighter with 5 modes.

Hello discord

Universal bike mount is one of the best to mount a flashlight from 22 to 27 mm and with a trick even down to 17 mm .The trick is to glue about 3 cm of the rubber that is send with the mount glued in the opening .I used 2 component glue for that. For easy removal use this one. as flashlight i recommend Hugsby p31 3 mode (23 mm incl.clip).These mounts are not for turning left to right, the only one i knew having this feature is the new fenix mount, but why do you want a swivelling one?

The old Fenix mount was a little annoying (had one), the new Fenix AF02 one looks a bit better (no 1st hand experience).

But a P31 together with this holder is still my favourite 1AA quick-mount bike front light, but it hasn't swivel capabilities.

Today I received both of these mounts you mentioned. Both are great, but with the cheaper one for me its easyer to remove the light - i just slide it forward. Its really a tight fit for c30 light (anything with a larger diameter than c30 99% wont fit). Second one is more universal, but maybe it doesnt grip as well. I would go with the cheaper one - just because I am cheap.
