Should be receiving mine any day now. Ordered 2 black and 2 silver. The black are labeled R2 and the silver are Q5 though.
Edit: no both are labeled “R2” now They were both labeled as Q5 but now R2
I have 4 sipiks already… I hate to hijack, but are there any drivers, emitters, pills, drop-ins available for these? I’d love to make mine a three or two mode without blinkies- mode memory would be nice, but I could forgive not having it if I didn’t have a blinky.

I've always wanted one of those. But despite it is a 3 year old model it is still quite expensive.
There was a Philipino guy who modded his with a xml and a the 90 mm reflector from DX and got +100kCd with dome intact and original driver. AFAIK it was on alu star too. So it definitely has potential. AFAIK it does 55kCd stock with lots and lots of flood.

How did he get a 90mm reflector in an X2? The head is only 90mm at the bezel. :~

I was looking at one of those as well, exactly why don’t you like them, do they heat up too much/too fast? How is the output?
I have one of these: Aleto 1300 Lumen Zoomable It’s kind of cheaply made but it puts out a decent amount of light and doesn’t get too hot.
