No idea if it’s good bad or what, but for the price you get a good led and a free host.

List Price $35.50, seems Legit

For sure.

At least they didn’t say 1300 lumens.

I’ve ordered about 4 or 5 of these and they sent different versions each time. One time they sent 2 different versions in the same order. Some say ultrafire some are just plain black. There is another vendor selling it at $3.76 http://www.amazon.com/FordEx-Group-300lm-Flashlight-Adjustable/dp/B006E0QAFY/ref=aag_m_pw_dp?ie=UTF8&m=A1DOUEOSX7QVHM

Damn good price with any version you get I think. Thanks for sharing.

Ya save $31.81 though (90%), on each. At that Price it must be one of New Tech LED Thingies, i heard they’re pretty bright. How do they do it ???

And thanks for Sharing, Cheers.

You’re welcome and thanks for letting us know what to expect. (or not to expect). I bought some of the ones that were $2.50 a while back and had a blast with them. Was it you who posted them? Well anyway, I put all kind of different led’s and combinations in them. I de-domed one and did a direct drive that was cool. I put a T6-U2 in another one and did a direct drive. Very bright and no more ring. Fun lights and super easy to mod.

Yea that was me. Got 4 for $10 myself and got rid of them same day. I would buy a couple of these but I’m sitting on 4 of the Sipik clones from fastech (Uinifire) Which have many flaws, but the dealbreaker is the next-mode memory. (Whoever invented that needs to be locked away) lol
IMO, the best clone I’ve got so far is the ones that I bought from Easebon on ebay The 3 mode silver is hands down my favorite. The ones I bought cost $5.50 but I just checked his site and now he charges for shipping, now it cost $7 :frowning: oh well

That “Fordex” was my downfall… my first “real” light :)…

Now, THIS deal is what BLF is (or at least should be) all about— a good quality cree flashlight, at a great $, W/ FREE ship’g! Thanks A LOT for posting this deal! I bought 2; my only slight concern is this new seller ‘leonjhev’. Btw, they’re now EVEN less— $3.66, seller is ‘ebuyedget’.

Good find. Bought a couple to gift to my folks with Eneloops. Thank you.

Just had my first ‘real’ light ever show up today and it is this light from seller JFLY Store off amazon. It only has 1 setting. Contacted the company and told them and they let me know it is only supposed to have 1 setting. Very ticked off as I wanted a ‘real’ light.

Flashlight is marked Cree q5.

According the reviews off of amazon, it seems like a crapshoot which version you will get. Even people that ordered 3+ from the same seller received different lights in the batch.

Does anyone know a seller somewhere on the web with this clone that actually has the 3 settings?
This is frustrating.

Sorry to hear that but I’m not sure why you thought it would have more modes. They didn’t list it that way. I don’t see how you could be “ticked” when you got a nice light for under $4 with fairly fast shipping.

Ordered a couple of these. Never showed up. Seller never returned my e-mails. Filed a claim with Amazon, toothless as they can change one letter in their name and apply to Amazon again… Got a refund but would rather have had the lights.

Yea this has been removed. The cheapest you can get now on amazon is $4.40 here

Believe it or not… after buying a cheap 18650 light that has next mode memory, and using my 1-mode sipik daily…. I much prefer 1-mode, than a budget three mode light with potentially bad PWM or any blinky mode.

Unless the light has mode memory, and I’m inclined to believe a $3 light doesn’t, then I don’t want it.

I would like a 2 or 3 mode sk68 for when using 14500 cells as on high it would melt after 5 or 10 minutes but with lower modes it would be usable. No blinky modes, though!

I only use 14500s in my light and it works great! I used to use AAs but putting the Li-ions in it made it much brighter. I bought mine over a year ago though, so maybe it’s a more durable one? I have no problems with Li-ions or AAs still.

Does anyone know if I need to use a protected 14500 in this?

It has to be 3.6v right according to the descript on amazon.

I was thinking this battery https://www.fasttech.com/products/1045203

That’s what I use and they are good batteries.

Hi,

No, you don’t “need” to use a protected 14500.

It’ll work fine with an un-protected 14500 (that’s what I have in mine), but it’s generally recommended to use protected batteries, to avoid things like over-discharging.
