Features / Value: ★★★★

Great light that I keep in the car with primary cell in it. I like that it has an anti roll design. My bronte twisty light like to roll around and when working on machines at work it as rolled away on more than one occasion. Tail stands fine with the strap in place. The strap holes are looking for 2 screws and a clip and seems like it could be easy to add one to it. Nice glass lens and a screw in reflector holding it in place.

Design / Build Quality: ★★★★★

This light has great build quality all around. Fully anodized. Nice knurling grippy but not annoyingly so. Brass rings screw in the driver/pill and the tail cap switch as well. You can see them in the pics. The light has a decent hot spot and a surprising amount of spill for a smaller light.

Battery Life: ★★★

I have not done testing, but am suprised how long the battery has been lasting at work as I use the light daily for testing, I have been against cr123a because of price but at this rate its not going to deter me in the future. I have not tried an 16340’s and not sure that I will. The specs say 60 minutes.

Light Output: ★★★☆☆

The description states 200 lm and that seems about right. It is regulated to 1000ma and I measrued tailcaps readings as follows

Hi- .98A

Mid- .48A

Lo - .32A

The low could have been a little lower and the Strobe and SOS not really needed. PWM seems really high rate to me and hardly noticable when shining upon the ceiling fan test fixture. Some cheaper C8’s look terrible on that test. There are some lights in the same class size/battery with higer output so I gave it 3 stars. It is however a nice quality of light ouput

Summary: ★★★

This is a very nice little light and I think I will make a clip for it and try it as my EDC for a while and see how much I like it in that role. I had been carrying a uf2100 but I left it on a machine somewhere and it grew legs. The build quality on this light is much nicer than that. I will post updates with my EDC result and post what I can come up with for a clip. Below are a few more pics of the light.

Thanks for the review.
It seems a reasonable price for a cr123a Flashlight, with enought quality and with clicky.

Thanks for the review, i have a weak spot for tank007 lights, although they are usually rather chunky (well, it is a tank so what do you expect), and this is another good one.

Tank007 makes some decent lights. My EDC is the E06 and I never leave home without it. Thx for the review.
