Anyone tested BTY NiMH chargers?

Has anyone ever tested out any of the BTY brand chargers such as this one ? I suspect it will be similiar to the 5 dollar omnipotent charger reviewed here. If so its probably suitable for my simple needs.

Also the BTY GN-825 model charger on the fasttech page seems to suggest that the output voltage is 2.4V. I thought NiMH chargers give out 1.4 or so volts or am I wrong?

I’ve yet to see a useful BTY cell so I’d be very, very suspicious of their chargers.

The numbers from my light tests are always to be found here.

They do have decent batteries:

Other than these their batteries are utter crap and not worth their money, never, ever.

I have their GN-96 charger, havent had time to do review on it, Ive had it for 2-3 years and been rarely using it, when my flashlight addiction started, I was already knowledgeable enough to know that this charger wont cut it and thus Ive never used it with my Eneloops and my lights.

BTY makes batteries? I always thought they were projectiles for slingshot ammo. Big Smile
