Nice lights…

may I ask why you decided to stop this hobby?
did you find something else?

just curious…

Sorry to hear you go, I just wish I had the money to bJustine pod these things.

some great great lights here folks… if i had the $ i would be all over at least one of them!

sorry to see you go masha - i have always enjoyed reading your posts/builds

Looks like you had an expensive hobby. Glad all my purchases are in the double digits.

Sha,

Sorry to read that you’re leaving the hobby. I’ve watched your numerous builds for years and you’ve always provided novel and impressive builds & mods. For any new members interested in any of Sha’s lights, his gear is absolutely top rate and a bargain at the prices he’s asking. Good luck to you buddy, I’ll keep a watch for your future postings.

Regards
^G

Ma has created many masterpieces, and pioneered the "human lathe" technique for cutting down lights.

His lights are often the brightest, or the smallest, or simply the first to achieve a benchmark in our hobby.

I've seen him mod stuff going back almost ten years now, from cars to torches, and it has always been entertaining to see the outcome.

Don't be a stranger, buddy - and good luck with whatever catches your eye next !

I wish I could have Darth Vader. Renown is he for the Elephants. He even took on HIDs and the Maxabeams with the Moon Blaster etc. Whatever it is, I hope all will work out soon.

+1. Good luck with your next endeavor. Feel free to come back, check in, and share your next project with the forum even if it isn’t light related.

So sorry to hear you are leaving the flashlight hobby. You, Sir, are a legend among legends and will be sorely missed!

Thank you for all the enjoyment and inspiration you have provided the rest of us. Let us know what your future endeavors are. ;)

I’ll miss your mods — they were always absolutely immaculate. Thanks for sharing what you did, and let us know where the winds take you.

Say it isn’t so . . . best wishes, though.

When you see a ma_sha 1 build

You'll know instantly no one's more skilled

at creating a light

that's both handsome and bright

He's the founder of the modders' guild

Through the years he has kept us all thrilled

with the various things he has milled

We know all journeys end

We will miss you , dear friend

And we hope all your dreams are fulfilled

Thanks , ma_sha 1

I’m feel like the other members here. I really hate to see you go. I have always enjoyed all your mods here and at CPF.
I have never seen another modder have the creativity and drive to make the mod work that you come up with in some of your builds. Truly inspirational and motivational . You will be missed in this hobby for sure.
.
When the words “human lathe” are mentioned I always think of you.
.
Any of these lights would be a great treasure to own coming from the retired legendary modder “Ma_sha1”

Sorry to see you go. I do believe you are one of the Premier CPF modders over the years. You have given me many ideas and it's a handful of the classic CPF modders like you, that got me into playing with lights, back when Incans were all there was.

Hope you stay well, safe and happy.

Now, now… we know you got started when those new-fangled flaming sticks just hit the Cave Depot stores…

Sounds like ma_sha1 is done with flashlights…

Kinda like John Laroche is done with fish…

…or maybe he will return to flashlights in a year or 10…

Too bad. Wish you come back soon.

some day it'll be time for us to move one too

Oh man, best wishes.

Don’t think we need to freak out that he hasn’t logged on for 2 days though, especially considering him leaving the hobby. We, as a forum, tend to overreact when people don’t sign on for short periods of time.
