5 mA firefly low available!

Pretty tempted to buy it…

Toppel

Sonuva!!!

Firefly / 2% / 25% / 100% is just about perfect.

Would love to see what the XML T6 3C tint looks like.

I wonder how many versions of this light they can come up with? At some point, we’ll probably see a “V100” :)! Just kidding :)!!

Is it really XM-L2 with 3C tint?

I dont see why not…

Looks like main difference between this and v3 is:

-LED upgrade
-AR lens
-slightly different driver (380mah chips, different modes)

Would be cool to see these come with those direct bond boards.

I’ll find out at month end, its sat in my cart awaiting month end, four mode xm-l2 3c, I’ve put off buying and xintd for long enough

I just bought a 4 mode in NW even though I have a V3 in NW.

I dont see how you can go wrong with this one. I hope it really has a descent AR lens and not some cheap piece of junk with light/single AR coating.

I am tempted to do the same.

You picked the right time to buy gords!

Looks like they switched to the new Qlite driver instead of the usual Nanjg 105c. Good stuff!

seems like a no-brainer, although I wish they’d offer it as a host

Yes, I like that, especially with the Qlite driver.

Too many lights to buy, what do I do?

Best hope for some overtime at work

Thanks for the headsup.

They were already shipping an AR lens with a 3.04A driver before this. Only difference now sounds like the emitter. Unfortunately, for just brightness, the U3 they offered previously was maybe the best. I'm surprised it's not even an option anymore.

Of course my XinTD is a XM-L2 U2/SinkPAD, running at 3.85A.

Youre such a show-off!

I have the XinTD V3 XM-L U3 5 mode. It’s a nice light, but I never use it. It just sits and collects dust. I like the fact this new one comes with a firefly mode, but I wish they would offer the choice of a forward clicky switch as well. I know most people prefer reverse clicky for mode switching unless there is a separate button, but I still prefer forward clicky myself. I’ve been thinking about giving my XinTD to my cop buddy as a backup light to his Fenix PD32 UE just because maybe it would see SOME use then…

I see you had one of each tint in your shopping cart. And you're somewhere in the EU.

Maybe I ordered mine too soon… I have a V3, XM-L U3, 2.8A, with 5% / 30% / 100% modes… but I would much rather have the newer driver with 0.16% / 2% / 25% / 100% modes.

As is, I get about 50lm / 300lm / 1000lm… but the new version would get about 1.7lm, 21lm, 263lm, and 1050lm. Much better spacing and I dig having a good low and medium instead of just med/high/higher. (numbers are estimates based on a linear power-to-brightness model… which I know is inaccurate, but should be close enough for now)

I doubt I’ll order one though. I hardly ever need my bigger lights, because I’m usually indoors where they’re total overkill… and they’re a bit large to EDC for unplanned outdoor use. I love my C8, but I rarely have any actual use for it. I would totally not complain if one showed up in a gift box though.

You can always just replace the driver
