I would have put that up in the subject too . because it changes the deal dramaticly ...I thought dang that's a great deal ... ooops.. not so great any more .. I hate it when they hide the price in the shipping . it's like false advertising.

I have nitecores for sale for  12 $ too..........BUT              shipping is $25.95

xre  ?  q3 ?      well 3 for 20$ helps take the sting out of  the 5$ shipping  fee

Real question is .. does anyone out there have this light ??  looks pretty

I assume woot is for 1 day ?? or  just hours ??

3 for 20   closed the deal on this one as well as a side switch ..I'll probably sell them but I'm sure there's a market for pound and a half flashlights out there . thanks for the link and sorry for whining about the price ..At 10$ I'm saying no  ...at 3 for 20 i'm in..Guess we'll see what they are when they arrive ??

happy easter to you uncle jes

I passed on the deal myself.  The battery life seems like a good idea, and it's probably a great non-mag but similar host, but my personal tastes changed to smaller lights once I came here.

I still love showing my 4 amp (with 1x Hi-Max 2600mAh 18650) KD C8 to Mag-heads, and they look at me shamefully saying "But...  it only has ONE led?"

And then... I turn it on.  Big Smile

I agree; just say what the hell it is. It's not a $2 Corvette with a $65,000 "Doc" fee. thingspismeofftooFoy

They way I look at it is there's probably better quality control than buying it new.

You didn't read the fine print after "$12" where is says "per month, for the next three months"

I bought this $5 light ,,great ..

These were the best deal I've bought in  a long time .. wish  I bought l00 of them .

i looks just like a 2 D cell battery mag light with a q3 @ l20 lumens in it . fit and finish are sweet .. just doesn't focus like a mag light head does .. beautiful light for $7 it's a steal .

Bought 3 from WOOT.  The star is held against the heatsink only by the pressure of the reflector screwed against it.  I would recommend lifting up the Star and putting a little thermal glue under it.  Not very good heatsink, only touches around the edge of the star.  The LED isn't driven real hard so should be cool enough.

I think it has a huge attractiveness to the "Average Joe "  120 lumens ..  IS... bright as hell. it feels well made , it looks like a maglight that costs 3 times more ..

if you want to sell a light this would have been it at under 7 bucks .. it's an easy sale at 15$ ... personally i have no need or desire for something that runs on D cells ..If you've ever spent 7$ on a mini mag .. you need one of these . it's a great sell or gift light I handed my p.h.d. brother a zebralight a D-10 nitecore and this light .. immediately he said oooh.. i rolled my eyes .people equate heft  with quality .One reason i bought them might have been is i have a 4 cell maglight and never had the smaller ones  2 D's or C's etc ..

shut up and buy one .. it's a dime
