I'm overdue for my 2000 post giveaway. I have been thinking about how to do this. Given the recent giveaways that are going on, I wanted to do something a little different. What I can do is try my best to give the winner something they will enjoy.

So, all you have to do is post one (and only one) comment in this thread telling me what light type you would like. You can be as specific or as vague as you like. List one or more types, sizes, models that would work best for you. I'll do my best to pick a light that matches the request.

Rules:

  1. One post per member (Mr. Admin is entry #1, automatically entered)
  2. Must be a member on or before May 29, 2013.
  3. I will do my best to adhere to the winner's provided guidance, however I reserve the right to pick any prize.
  4. Entries will be accepted for about a week, I'll give a warning shot a day or so before.
  5. You may edit your post as often as you like to adjust your request, until entry period ends.
  6. Winner will be selected via random.org, post number is your ticket number.
  7. The prize will be ordered from whatever vendor I decide, and shipped directly to the winner from that vendor.

Edit: There have been quite a few requests for a modded light, and I will not completely exclude that option. Anything is possible.

Also, some requests are well over what I can spend, some are well under. I didn't set a price limit on purpose, just to see where requests would go. Rule three above, still applies though :P

an 18650 MC-E light. 1 2 or 3 cell I’m not picky (got boatloads of 18650’s around here) Tailcap switch preferred as its easier for my arthritic hands to work than the usually smaller side pushbuttons. Always preferred the tailcap clicky switch.

I can’t think of a light that would fit between the ones I have, but if you happen to pick me I’d like to see Teh Spaz get his golden standard. :wink:
(Which I think would be nice in an L2P form with a moderate nice tint drop in from Eric. Gold, of course! {Gold body, golden Nichia 219 output})
