[06-JUN-2013] Temporary downtime problems

Hi everyone,

There have been a few periods of downtime today. I fixed a small error in the database, and also our webhost is upgrading the OS. They just rebooted the server to finish the upgrade.

Nothing should change, but please let me know if you run into any errors.

Update:
Looks like we are having resource limit problems now. I’m currently in contact with our webhost.

Thanks! Have fun.

I keep getting resource limit reached, especially when clicking to view this thread :open_mouth:

me too, I’m not at the point of sitting in a corner rocking myself to sleep but its getting close….

Resource Limit Is Reached

The website is temporarily unable to service your request as it exceeded resource limit. Please try again later.

You should already be asleep anyway, or modding a light or something. :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve actually been quoting on a build……hence my light meter post, I want to quantify this one, convoy l2, qlite with extra chips, dedomed xp-g2 on noctigon, resistance measures, I want to know what this sucker does as my own mark 1 version is pretty impressive.

does this mean BLF is the victim of its own success?

Let Barbara sing you to sleep Bort.

I guess it’s a good problem. But seriously, sorry for the hassle, I’m trying to figure out the best solution here.

I’ve been getting the 508 Max resource limit reached error as well, and I’ve also noticed that the loading is pretty sluggish. It takes about 5-15 seconds to load a thread or post a comment.

Keep up the good work! Thanks Mr. Admin!

It’s quite fast for me now, and has been for the past 10 minutes. Back to normal!

EDIT: I spoke too soon, I guess as more people return to the site it’s becoming slower and slower. No crashes or ‘resource running low’ as of yet though.

Yea same here, no more resource errors but painfully slow to do most anything; it feels like a 2400 baud modem or something :Sp

I’m also getting Site off-line errors from Drupal just now. :open_mouth:

Yup, it’s still pretty bad. I’m working on it. Thanks to everyone for their patience.
