Noname 4x XM-L U2 king (skyray clone) @ USD 16 delivered - too good to be true? - Probably.

The images show a golden or maybe bronze-like colored 4x xml king with no markings on it. The text says it includes:

1 × 6500Lm 4x CREE XM-L XML U2 LED Flashlight Torch 4× 18650 30W Lamp Light
4 × 18650 Rechargeable 3.7V Battery
2 x Rechargeable 18650 Battery Charger
1 x Plug Adaptor to suit your Country

I am going to assume there will be no delivery of it before the 45 day paypal window has been closed but what the heck. Ordered a bunch of them.

Search your ëbay for “Flashlight Torch 40W Light 4× 18650 Charger SKYRAY 6500Lm 4x CREE XM-L U2 LED” from yahgli to find it. Sorry if this has already been posted – way too many threads on here to keep up with Smile

The Average price is around $50… $16 sounds a bit fishy. Give it a try

Couple years ago, I bought 10 torches, one by one on a “Too Good to Be True” basis, of course, I never received any of the torches. It was a long and painful process, but Ebay did refund every cent, but it took about 6 months all total to get my money back, and it was a pain in the butt…

I’m being a ‘too-good-to-be-true’ fool on this one as well….. Not sure why but I’m sure eBay and PayPal are on to these kinds of scams…

Maybe my coffee is making me feel lucky…

I bet its either a scam or someone wanted to post them to be bid on with a $16 starting bid and accidentally as a fixed buy it now price instead. It seems most Chinese sellers have a bunch of names too so he probably doesnt care about his ebay score too much, goodluck.

$16? Shocked Four XM-L U2 emitters alone would cost more than twice as much.

Looks like the listing posted above has been pulled. Don’t know why, but you can probably file a ebay or paypal claim now and get refunded without issue.

The UK ebay link works. This looks dodgy to me. All that for $17 thats £10.49!! where’s the profit in that even at chinese prices? Also the guy only has feedback from 20 people And a score of 95.5%

It's moments of madness that keep us sane.

DON'T give it a try.  It's a waste of time and money.  It's a scam that's been going on for years.  This is just the latest light.  Lot's of suckers and old threads on BLF to prove it.  Don't be another one.  If you insist, I hope you enjoy your genuine Chinese coin. Wink

If the ads have been pulled, you can file. Generally, they know something is up when they pull the ads and you should get a refund right away. At least, that is how it has worked for me when I have made these types of purchases.
