And it stopped loading. I got this instead:

“Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to 198.199.90.139”

Not sure if anyone else is still “testing” it. I still am using my PC overloading the server.

I’m having trouble with it now too. I’ve rebooted it a few times now. I suspect that it needs to have the maintenance tasks run after that heavy load, and I can’t run them because of a configuration problem on this testbed.

OK, I think I managed to run the maintenance task, at least partially. It seems to be running quite fast. Now if everyone could please try to navigate around it and send PMs and get a feel for the “normal” load performance.

Well, I do have access to a 200 gigabit/sec direct internet backbone link (but via a 1 gig/sec net connection). It would probably not be couth to unleash that on the poor beastie.

Cool, please keep poking around and let me know how it behaves.

I’ll probably be switching BLF over to this new hosting provider and infrastructure. Unfortunately this issue came up on a really really busy week for me, so I might not be able to migrate the site over until early next week. Meanwhile, please excuse the exasperating slowness of the current production BLF site and stick around for the upgrade. Smile

We have the coolest people on this forum. Test site is snappy enough for me, but my end is probably the bottleneck. no errors. Thanks SB!

Ah, cool. I noticed a bit of a hangup too there at about the same time. So you win.

The very first time I clicked on the link it took me about 15 seconds to load (5 minutes ago), but after that it’s as fast as BLF was a few days ago. Smile

Just logged back on this morning but quick response still seems intermittent for whatever reason.  About 75% of the time now, it seems back to normal.

Also, thank you to all the true brainiacs and SB for all their work and for putting up with the likes of cluelessFoy's "help."  Foy knows computer hardware but software?  fugetaboutit

Pretty unique little community we got, you have to admit.

Yup, it’s very fast now.

I think it’s even faster than regular BLF load times. Smile
