26650 extension tube

Anyone try one of these, especially with the HD2010?

The low mode should be lower.

Especially for the price but with shipping added on better to buy a bunch of other stuff too. Now using that with an HD2010 all I can say is you better have one heck of a buck driver to handle that current. Can you say, POWERful? Big Smile

“In many things in order to truly understand the small picture you have to understand the big picture first.”

True Color Rendition (TCR)/Simplified Definition: “On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest rating, a TCR will equate to what true colors you see in sunlight vs the same object’s colors you see when illuminated with a flashlight. The closer the two are, the higher the TCR rating will be.”

The TCR Reference Standard is the Walmart Ozark Trail OT 50L , Model No. 6103.
It has a TCR rating of ‘10’. $1.00 including batteries.

I wish I could access Fancyflashlights right now to see the price with shipping. Sad

Finding a driver is a challenge, but I'll leave that for another day.  I'm thinking this might be good for the 3XM-L version of the HD2010, as well as a few other variations.  It's also nice because it has anodized threads to add tailcap lockout.  The biggest reason I want to do it is because I miss long handled Maglites.

The low mode should be lower.

Of course.   I'll still hold out hope that this tube somehow fits.  I'm not up to the task of making or modding my own tube.

I think we should start pressing for standardization.

The low mode should be lower.

I'll do that.  I sent an email to Ric earlier today.  Thanks for the heads up about that driver.  You've saved me a lot of time.  Hell, you might be entirely responsible for allowing this mod get off the ground.

The low mode should be lower.
