Bunch Of Lights For Sale - See Post #20

I decided to sell a quite a few of my lights. I’ll post the ones I’m selling next week sometime with the prices and some pictures. So be on the look out. I have some good ones that won’t last long.

I will go ahead and take paypal as normal. I want you guys to feel comfortable with the sale. These lights are all about as low as I can go.

Brad

Sounds good I’ll be keeping an eye out. Hopefully I get lucky and see your post before it’s too late. I might not have much of a budget for the month though as it looks like I’m going to be blowing it on emitters and such.

No problem with the money order either.

Just curious why you are selling. Do you have something big you’re buying?

I’m a junky, I mod lights so I can sell lights so I can buy more light to mod so I can sell lights to buy more lights to mod.

Why he is selling? maybe his cabinet is getting too small for all his lights...

so he wants to buy a second one... but therefore has to sell a few lights first Wink

In the U.S., a money order is “kind of like” a check, but you buy the money order from the U.S. post office, I think.

It’s been years since I’ve actually had to use one, so I’m not 100% sure where you can purchase them nowadays.

Also, in the old days, before Paypal, money orders were used for most Ebay purchases/auctions, i.e., after winning an auction, you’d have to go get a money order, and physically mail it to the seller. The sellers would typically only ship after they received the money order.

o, thanks for explanation, I checked also on wikipedia and I am pretty confident that this method doesn’t work internationally, even if it would work, that would be one of least safe payment method of all, side by side with Western Union
Pity Sad

I guess it depends if you can trust the seller or not .

Ilikeflashlights isn't exactly like some bozo on ebay who no one has ever heard of before .lots and lots of members have his address. I have a sneaky suspiscion Glenn has his phone number and he has a reputaion as being a stand up guy .

I'd trust him ..I do  Silly

On the other hand If i lived half way around the world I might have second thoughts ..Guess you have to buy your lights from a little chinese girl named Suzy Wong

I’ll be checking in from time to time. PM me if you want any of these. They are all what I say they are or better.

Most of you guys know me pretty well here and how I take care of my stuff.

I’ve used Western Union to pay US sellers w/out a PP a/c and whose credit union could not handle bank draft/Telegraphic Transfer. Almost every town there has a local WU agent (eg. newsagents, biz center, photocopy shop, etc). All you need is the name, address, tel.of the intended recipient. A 10-digit security code is generated for your disposal. But the fees range btw 10-20% for amts below a grand. Still beats risks sending cash by snail mail!

“It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest that I go to than I have ever known.” – Sydney Carton in ‘A Tale of Two Cities’ by Charles Dickens (1812-1870).

I don’t know his reasons but I can understand his concern. It’s a bit of a hassle shipping overseas from the US especially right now. Customs forms to fill out, unexpected duties that pop up once in awhile. I have even had to fill out paperwork with homeland security before and that took time to process and it was aggravation as all get out.

I have it down and I’m already on file with homeland security so I don’t mind so much. But it’s still a bit of a pain in the back side. Plus shipping rates from the US along with the extra fees usually make it cost prohibitive. I only do it because I’m used to it.

I’m a junky, I mod lights so I can sell lights so I can buy more light to mod so I can sell lights to buy more lights to mod.
