Wow, $33 will get tax. My country will tax me if above $167 and I am victim of it. $33 is so low, that is crazy.

Yupp.. Thread about import fees here if anyone want to talk share details about that. This is not the thread, but feel free to talk about it over in that thread.
Hoping this thread will stay on topic and more people will get in on the deal. But if they mark the package with 33$, then Im not in.. Silly

33 is pretty good I think!!

it's a loT of work to send 50 lights out, so that price is pretty good.

I’m still in at $33 shipped, but I would need the package marked at under $25 value to avoid customs fees of 20% + around $15 for processing it. That never seems to be an issue with other Chinese vendors though.

At $33, I’d be happy to buy one.

Can we get someone shipped a review unit first?

It would be a really good idea to review & approve one light before shipping to everyone.. Especially if the manufacturer is willing to improve possible shortcomings (PWM, modes, ..)

I can volunteer to review my [above ordered, self-paid] light.

Pulsar, I bet that if you request a quote for 50 pcs of FandyFire YL-U2 from Fasttech they would offer US$33 or even less with free individual shipping and I do like YL-U2 much more than Supfire M6 so, thanks for your effort but I’m out.

This is a bold thought, but I think I can do emitter upgrades with copper MCPCB’s for some people.

Maybe even resistor mods for a higher current as an alternative to TP’s driver.

I’m on summer vacation, and my soldiering skills aren’t too shabby.

Shipping to and from here is also relatively cheap at about $6, and I think we can get a discount if they’re shipped to here as a bulk.

Let me know guys if this sounds like a plausible idea. Smile

Hey Ryan, that sounds very good, but do keep in mind, that re-sending 50 lights takes a lot of time! Wink

I`m still in for 1.. if it stays below $35.. the light looks more worth than that!

Pulsar, sorry to convey unhappy news for you as organizer.
since they will ship with CN Post to meet the price, I prefer to out Sad

I had few experiences with CN Post while active buying stuff from Ebay.
there were only 2 cases with them:
1. lost package
2. if didn’t lost, arrival time average 2 months, and some with item damage.

just too many hassle.

thanks though for this GB chance.

I’m probably misunderstanding something, but 2.5A per LED, seems quite high, for a multi LED light.  What are the SRK’s pulling?  IIRC it was ~5.5A.

This driver would be pulling at least 7.5A… which is great, if that’s the case, but it would suck to find out that the driver is actually just 2.5A.

Also, any other option for LED, or strictly only XMLT6?

If LEDs are in series, each LED would get the same current ie, 2.5A and at approximately 700lumens per XM-L at 2.5A, the claim of 2000lumens sounds correct.

So theoretically do you guys think this will be brighter than a SRK? And compared with some of the good “Kung” versions that a few of you have received?

Sad to hear about your experiences. Most of my packages come China Post and they have always taken less time than HK post. Possibly the seller did something wrong.

If they happen to change shipment to HK Post somehow, I'm in for $33 shipped.

I have better luck with HK Post than SG Post and CN Post, so will not gamble on that postal service ever again except for real low value item.

Maybe I should PM their reps and persuade Big Smile
