yes I know, but that still doesn’t make them invisible…
That only shows lack of professionalism in developing the product, if they intended to offer this product to whole world, that is…

I vote ASAP. I have the gold FandyFire SRK and have put off getting another SRK for many months coz of quallity control issues i.e. FastTech etc etc. Now this deal pops up and I don’t feel hesitant at all to get involved with a new version of SRK. As I’ve learned on this forum: The new products that emerge are usually the best, those that follow can be lesser qualilty CLONES. So, I’m willing to roll the dice on the M6. And with TPyros majic bullet out there, why worry?

So I vote ASAP !!

yeah i know. now they are a member maybe they will participate in the commercial sellers spot. they can take suggestions on making their light better for minimal investments. such as higher frequency PWM, AR coated lens, newer gen emitters...

Actually, I don't mind paying $3 for OL. He's been a great resource to this community both as a member and a hard core modder, and I don't want him to miss out on this opportunity just because of $3. Let me know of your PP and I'll send out $3.12 right away. :)

Gentlemen. I am touched at your kindness, but I would ask you not to do that. It's hard enough to accept anonymous gifts that show up at my mailbox from time to time, but this would be very hard.

Thank you so much, but just let it go, please.

I suspect that with some of the dregs and vestiges that hang out around here Wink you will need a 20% over-subscription to make sure that you get to the 50 piece level… lots of good intentions… lots of buyer’s remorse.

I’ll do whatever that makes you the most comfortable.

Sorry about the light, it has a lot of potential, and I would hate it if you missed out on this GB.

Guys, so question on the shipping... at $33 we still get a tracking number, or not?  I'm hesitant to purchase anything without tracking.

@Pulsar, it may also be worth proposing to them individual discounts within the GB, for example, can I get 2 for $60 shipped as opposed to 1 for $33, a 10% discount for ordering double.

Assuming tracking is available, I'm in for 1 at $33, or two for $60 if they go for that.

i will try, but i dont think they will go under the $33 shipped. i specified we wanted tracking, so i am hoping that price includes tracking. i will make sure it does, and i will ask if the members buying two would get a discount on shipping

I would hate for this to fall thru after all your hard work Pulsar. I vote to get while the getting is good. I think many plan to mod them anyways.

I’d rather get it now, for the $33, but want/need tracking, esp. if China Post.

Thanks,
Jim

Once that’s all confirmed, can you find out how they want us to place our (my) orders with them? Email? Something else?

Sorry, also someone also mentioned about PP fees. Are they (hopefully) ok with PP payments, and we just send a “purchase” type PP payment (Send Money)?

to be honest, we have not discussed payment yet.... Undecided

like i said this is the first time attempting anything like this, still learning.

it will be flat rate paypal payment of $33 or else i will be out. i am not comfortable with any other payment type with anything out of country. that and paypal is pretty much the universal way for online payment worldwide. anything less will be unacceptable

like i said this is my first time trying to organize anything like this. i am hoping to do it again, but have learned what parts are important to discuss before hand. shipping charges, payment format, make sure each item can be paid for by each member involved, and shipped to each member involved...

I don’t think anyone is “pointing fingers” at you :).

Actually, the only GB I’ve participated in was for the FF 18650 with RIC, so this is all also kind of new to me, so I’m finding things out myself :).

Thanks,
Jim

oh, i know no fingers are being pointed in my direction, at least i hope not

but some of the important issues i did not think about before hand have turned into headaches. this has gone fairly smooth, but not as smooth as i was hoping

when quoted $21 for shipping last night, to say i was slightly disappointed is an understatement

Perhaps ask for shipping discounts on multiples and not just 2 to same address? e.g., $33 for first + $28/29 for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc.

This group buy is 3 days old.  Truth be told at present it's still more of a feeler.

You're doing a great job though, give yourself some slack, and thank you for doing it!
