Just for those, who still have this one on the wishlist. The price is interesting.

My boss wants this light.  He almost pulled the trigger a couple of months ago and I think it was close to $150 then.

Best price I've ever seen on it. I normally see it going for like Foy said, $145.

It is the ugliest of the TK's IMO.

Rats, finally sold my 2010 509hp Mustang...now I can buy more lights!

Sold the red one too! Now guess what I drive, doing my penance for 500 hp commuters...

And it's obsoleted by the newer XM-L lights...

I think he was impressed by its multi-emitter design and multiple modes.  I was trying to educate him (I'm a beginer I know but, by comparison . . .) by showing how a light of equal and/or greater output could be had much cheaper.  He's held off for now but if he's determined, I may have to show him this.  Also, I wouldn't mind seeing one without having to buy the damn thing.

I think the design is pretentious, at best but it is also probably a quality piece.

I would show him this instead: http://www.lightjunction.com/JETBeam-BC40-XML-flashlight.html

With JETBeam you don't play the Fenix green tint lottery either.

If it can use rechargeables . . . and, the heck with him, I like that light.

Show him a TK 35 or the new TK 41. The JetBeam is nice, but it has that classic toilet-plunger form as well.

I am pretty jaded I guess, but I find it hard to tolerate an ugly light unless it has some redeeming quality in terms of price and performance.
