Drop-in storage.

I’m getting quite a few drop-ins and wondered what people use to store them for carrying around (apart from the obvious torch body).
I’ve sent for 5 of these from Solarforce but I’m open to other ideas.
I noticed some thing strange about the pricing structure, 99c each or £17.99 for 10 and £33.98 for 20. It does say the 99c is a discounted price but I’d have thought that they would have reduced the price of the “bundles” to match.

I think those 35mm film containers work… That’s what some of my drop-ins come in.

That’s a good idea. I’d never thought of those.

i believe Ouchyfoot food some cheap craft containers at the local dollar store

+1 on the 35mm film containers, they’re taller than the drop-ins but if you put some foam in there that should keep it from hurting anything. I’ve heard they give them away if you ask at your local 1hr photo but haven’t tried it yet myself
Fishing tackle boxes might work too, I need to find one for all the parts I keep ordering…

+1 on the 35mm film containers!
When mine arrive from intl-outdoor, they’re first in a little baggy and then the bottom of the container is padded with plastic wrap and the drop in just slots right in.

Thanks people.
I’ll be getting some 35mm film canisters very soon, I’ve still got a few tucked away from before I went DSLR.
Steve.

I think we all do… Wanna buy a 10 pack of Kodachrome slide? Just kidding… I’m holding on to those :)…
