UltraFire Cree XM-L T6 5 Modes 1600 lm Tactical LED Flashlight

Hopefully you like it.

Have a nice day,
Mia from Aurabuy.com

Would you please measure the diameter of the head of this light?

http://www.aurabuy.com/ultrafire-cree-xm-l-t6-1800-lumens-5-mode-ipx-6-waterproof-led-flashlight-4-x-18650-brown.html

It looks like it might be a great thrower, and with 4x18650, it'd have great battery life too.

Hey , here it is
174(L)*69mm(head D) *64mm (body D)

Also, i have sent a request to ask a discount from our product department for this flashlight. Price will be updated soon.

Kindest regards,
Mia

The ultrafire 1226 reflector is 61.99mm deep x 51.65mm wide. Its well driven @3.51A in high mode and throws fairly well.

After my last order with aurabuy (6 x c8 flashlights) I think Im done ordering from them ever again. That was my 4th order of C8 flashlights and they have gotten consistently lower in quality with each order. Now they are shipping pure garbage (to put it nicely). Yes they know about the problem but didnt do anything to improve the quality.

Thanks aurabuy but our relationship is over and my money now goes elsewhere.

Thanks Mia. I'm surprised the head is only 5mm bigger than the body. It looks like a lot more in the pictures.

Thanks too. What happened to your review?

Sorry. May i know what happened to your order? Could you send a PM to me with your order number please?

Mia,

  • The drivers have fallen in quality. The tailcap amp measurements are now all over the scale, from 1.35A to 2.05A. They used to measure around 3.0A. So now they are not nearly as bright when compared to the first ones I purchased from aurabuy.
  • Most of the flashlights flicker because of the switches.
  • The lens used to have a smooth edge. Now they are sharp poorly cut pieces of jagged glass.
  • One light didnt work because the driver was completely dead.
  • 2 were missing lens orings.
  • 3 had cheap broken orings at the tailcap.

PM sent with order numbers.

I was considering ordering the advertised light, that is until I saw FlashPilot’s post. One must heed what they read, no?

I was too, thanks for the heads up FP.

Yep…free flashlights to a few members is great and all…but when it comes to BLFers spending our hard-earned $…the quality better be there. There were a couple lights I was keeping my eye on at AuraBuy…now I’ll just have to wait and see how issues like this are dealt with.

I was eyeing for some lights from Aurabuy and because of FlashPilot’s post, I began to think twice. :~

The C8 I ordered from them last 20 April draws 1.94 Amps at the tail at 4.18 volts. This should be 2.48 Amps to the LED so I guess I was lucky that it was a good one (though my 2 Convoy C8s draw 2.44 Amps at the tail).

I’m don’t wan’t to spend my hard earned cash on flashlights based on luck though.

Thanx FlashPilot!

Thanks. Im still waiting for Mia’s reply and remedy.

Anyone care to comment on the lumens faux pas of the op light or are we well past that point now?

I will say the jacobs a60 I got from aurabuy came very well packaged and the host was in excellent condition, driver was useless but since I fully intended to direct drive it even before I bought, it fulfilled its intended role as a contact board.

treat the lights as hosts and maybe it’ll be ok, I just wouldn’t call them finished articles.

Id say that we’re far past that point. The same item was once a great buy at aurabuy but the quality continued to slip. With fasttechs superior quality Convoy C8 available in your choice of tint and amps, it just doesnt pay to buy an inferior light and then put the money into it for mods (at least this one). I bought the aurabuy C8’s for gifts/resale, and had to put time and money into them just to bring them up to a reasonable standard. Now Ive got more invested in them and they still arent nearly as good as the Convoy C8.

Still no reply from Mia after I replied here and sent a PM.

The OP light looks decent for the price.
Too bad about the issues, FlashPilot. I do hope that it is dealt with promptly.
This is the type of problem I fear with buying lights like this. The initial production run is very nice and produces lots of happy customers. The following production runs prioritize profits over quality, which ultimately disappoints existing and new customers alike.

Hello buddies,
Sorry that i was away for meeting with my boss this week. Finally i came back at office now.

I am working on FlashPilot Problem currently.

We should check these problems with our Purchase Dept. and Logictics Dept.

Then i will reply FP this afternoon.

Sorry for this delay. We will make things right.
Best regards,
Mia

PS: You can get reply in 24 working hours concerning your order problems by sending emails to cs@aurabuy.com.
Also, i check my email box everyday (cooperate@aurabuy.com)

Mia, thanks for your reply. PM sent.

I just send another PM to MIA. She wants to know how much return shipping would be. Price to return the flashlights is $61.45 USD. I will keep you all posted once she decides how to handle the poor quality of the C8 flashlights.

At this point, I am asking them to pay only for replacement drivers and I will deal with the rest of the issues. Such a pain in the ass… :Sp

Wow…that is a lot for shipping. Twood be wise for AB to send you the drivers…and perhaps a gift/credit for your troubles.
