They claim it's a Q5 but from the pic it's either an R5 or an XML. They also say it puts out 1600lm (not possible from a single Q5, R5 or even an XML) at a measly 800mA of current. LOL!!! The price is pretty high too @ $39.
Interesting... I scrolled down further on the page of new items and found another listing for the same light and this one appears legit with 6xQ5 emitters in the head but a Q5 @ 800mA will put out 245lm so 6 of them will total 1470lm. A bit off the claimed 1600 but not enough to be noticed by the naked eye.
I have just taken delivery of two of these drop ins this week and whilst being wary of the claimed output on both KD and DX, I can report that they are extremely bright, have masses of throw with an intense hotspot and plenty of spill, and they get very warm pretty quickly as well so they must be drawing a lot of power.
Was intending to replace the LEDs with XP-G R5s but might not bother now as this light is fairly awesome as it is.

everyone i have the same torch but i got it from manafont its an Xml t6 not bad at all its a good allrounder awsome throw & a lit of spill its a powerhouse of a torch??
