X2000_Super_Bright_Zooming_Aluminun First Impressions

Needing a two AA host ordered this one.

Emitter , generic Chinese's unknown characteristics

Body ; not like the C78 despite the similar look , a considerable less weight.

Pill ; here in my opinion is the advantage of this torch, the pill is larger with room to improve the heat management a bit.

Light output; don't ask..

Driver; died at the first try, look like the one cell which do not support two cells. Curiously the driver board has a red SMD emitter ..

The finish is ok , nice anodized

Switch ; pressed like some C78...

below the pill with a polished copper coin which fit perfectly pushed with a hammer...

So the driver died on the first try?

Sounds like a *FAIL* to me. That's a shame on a new light. Hopefully you can resusitate it.

Rats, finally sold my 2010 509hp Mustang...now I can buy more lights!

Sold the red one too! Now guess what I drive, doing my penance for 500 hp commuters...

No problem, I bought it for the parts , I'm planning putting an UV diode there, the one which came with this torch...
