Goodbye.

Greetings,

It had been an enjoyable experience in BLF until now. So I depart with a thank you to those who made my stay pleasant.

Before departure, I have removed all my SPAM from this Forum, apologise if any of my replies were deemed offensive and I can assure you that I will never SPAM this Forum in the future.

Goodbye.

@ SirJohn.

If you have read the OP properly, you would have realize that I was replying to OP. I was not trashing any lights from any HK sellers. I was forming my own personal opinion of one seller from passed experiences, others opinions may differ. If only favourable replys are acceptable in this Forum, then what's the point of asking for feedbacks ? To reply with untruths is to loose One's integrity.

Whoa, have I missed something? Was someone giving you grief J888www? Maybe my memory is slipping, but I don't recall you spamming anything...

What?

I saw a few posts by him the past couple of days basically trashing any light from any hk dealer because it seemd like he got burned in the past and wasn't prepared to do the self repair that some of the lights require. I didn't think anything of it as I feel the same way occasionally when a light goes bad and this forum is generally pretty free on taking both the good and bad comments. Someone must have taken offense to it or he posted a lot more than the couple of posts I saw that upped the negativity.

Thanks SirJohn.

J888www, Unless the administrator booted you off this forum (which he has the absolute right to do so), please come back and tell us about your flashlight problems. We will do our best to assist you in getting your torches going again. Nearly everyone with 5 or more Chinese built flashlights (regardless of their costs) has had at least one failure or disappointment and felt like smashing it to bits with a sledge hammer.

I'm missing something here. Unless he's got multiple accounts? I haven't been reading all the threads, but I haven't noticed any spam.

I think he deleted his own posts so his number went down...

Some of his post were 'normal', some slammed some distrubutors and plugged others for no apparent reason.

I thought he was spam because his location was in Chinese, but then saw it said (in Chinese) United Kingdom.

Some people are just strange...

Lol...yup! Time to go listen to "The Doors" for a bit now....

These are some Strange Days that we live in.

Hi there J888www,

I really don't understand the situation, but it would be nice if you could give me a few details about what caused this. For my part, I haven't noticed any misbehavior from you. And as for the -1 SPAM rating, for one reason or another almost everyone here has dipped below 0, usually because of a mistaken click. I fixed yours to 0, I would have notified you long ago if I thought you were spamming.

Best regards!

Now I have to go and watch The Lost Boys again... bah!

Yay, an excuse to watch The Lost Boys again! :)

Let's not overreact J888www. I was occasionally marked as spammer too along with many others. Felt bad at first but then i realized it was probably a random "wild" click from someone. I might even done that to some1 without knowing.

If your posts were mistakenly thought as spam that can happen and is quite rare i think. It all comes down how posts are made. If someone do a legit post that looks liek spam it will have a 80% chance of being flagged as. BLF spam filtering works human based and as such can fail. We are not perfect!

Youre more than welcome to stay here and expose anything that troubles you. I'm sure there is gotta be more than one willing to help you out on anythign flashlight related.

Don't think bad of BLF for some human perception errors if there were any. We have to fight spam daily so bare with us if some mistakes happen along the way.

As you see from the posts above no1 has any clue what possibly went wrong and already willing to help.

However it's your choice alone to keep browsing, posting on BLF or not.

Sorry about that. It seems like I did read a post where someone said a post was spam that seemed like maybe it wasn't. I doubt I'll be able to find it though.

Another thing is that spammers show and disappear once they are voted out, but reactions to spammers stay put. So it could be someone could post a reply to a spammer and once the spammer is gone, it looks like it is a response to the post before the spammer. Hopefully that's not what happened here.

Good point.
