What is this a copy of, & where to buy.

I got one similar to this, though a 3-mode…
for $5.79, no mo, all gone.

This unit must be a single mode, it don’t say any different.

Straight Shaft Q5 1-AA Zoom

I DO want a 3-mode

TIa

anyone ?
I saw one a long time back at some flashlight store, don’t remember where.

Maybe a Tank007?

Ebay search using Cree Q5 14500 had a lot of sk68, but dig and there are some straight tube variations.

I have seen one like this one on dx somewhere. At 24mm diameter it is one mighty thick flashlight considering that a AA is only 14mm, that is why despite the clean looks it did not appeal to me.

Smiling Shark SS-8023 uses the same body but seems to be 1 mode only.

EDI-T T11?

it is similar and has 3 modes.

That looks like a zoomie, though, whereas the one in the OP is not.

I also have one and frankly wouldn’t want another. The “pill” is just a tiny sliver of aluminum and on mine isn’t even glued to the tube so it can float around.

Edi-T E4

(Giveaway is the tailcap)

Yezel has a version of it also.I forget the number but Ric from cnqgoods/fancyflashlights sells it too.

It's the AA version of the T-11(cr123) or the P-4 (18650)

My question would be , does it have the normal EDI-T ramping driver and is it built as well as other edi-t lights ? I would assume smiling shark type versions are really poor .

Why ausralian edi-t thinks they are worth a gazzilion $ is beyond me .I like edi-t lights ,but at 10~20$ max .I've seen them sell for 70$ and up .My guess is EDI-T is an Aussie company who has lights made in china and tried to build a brand .Not a bad idea specializing in zoomies since they are so popular .It seems to have worked for Led Lenser .

Here is a link to what I assume is a cheaper version but who knows

http://www.tomtop.com/lasers-flashlights/flashlights-lamps/flashlights/mini-cree-led-flashlight-torch-500lm-3-mode-adjustable-focus-zoom-light-lamp-h9431.html obvious difference is the tail..

Edi-t lights have a tail clicky that is virtually unaccessable to the end user .sort of good and bad .This last one just looks cheap in the tail. Probably a pretty bad driver as well .But hey it's only a 7$ light .personally I'd rather spend another 5$ and get a better host ,anodization ,driver and a better clicky .

I DO want a FTT unit, the 24mm is no big deal, just want a smooth sided unit for holster usage, [Da Fuzz]

Similar but prolly cheapo, das ok.

It looks like a clone of a Sipik SK78.

Yup Yup Yup Yup Yup, das hit, thanks a lot

Wish I’d bought it yesterday, it was a buck cheaper, oh well, thanks…
