I’m looking for a light with these features. 1AA, High (100 lm)/low (50 lm or less). No strobe or SOS, starts on low. I can’t find anything like that. Battery life is important. The Fenix LD10 would be perfect if I could get rid of the strobe and SOS (who even knows what SOS is anymore?). Any ideas?
I daily carry the LD12 but would have to read the directions to find the strobe and SOS, so I don’t think it is much of a problem, wherever it hides from me at.
To add more, the LD12 starts at whatever setting you turn it off at and operates with the on/off clicky switch, if you want to change settings then use the side switch. If you want to, you can operate it forever as a single mode light with a forward clicky switch, you never have to see medium, high, and turbo, if you don’t want to.
Hand it to people and all they will know is that it is a single mode light, on, and off.
