Cells arrived in a 18650 case as described this time. The case was a bit damaged, but still perfefectly usable.
Internal resistance was 50 on arrival, 47 after discharge and 46 after charge. This 47 value perfectly matches 4.2V 2600mah Samsung ICR18650-26F’s so no penalization for higher voltage here.
In spite of being charged only to 4,2V, these cells reached nearly 2,5Ah. No doubt these would cross 2,7Ah charged to 4.3V
I like these batteries. This is actually the first time I measured higher values than HKJ. I blame this to his batteries not being as new as mine.
I tried to figure out the age of the cells from printing on metal tube under wrapper. According to these instructions, these cells should be over 9 years old which is obviously nonsense so don’t take this guide as valid for all Samsung cells.
