You can get one free from e2fieldgear with a S6330, which effectively brings it's price to under $40.

I got one for $54 using the discount on Illumination Supply. This doesn’t includeCalifornia sales tax, of course. On the other hand, they are fairly local to me. So I didn’t have to pay for shipping (or wait for it to be delivered). So I could consider the sales tax to be kind of like paying for ‘same day shipping’.

Does the w version still have the awful green tint?
No, it's more of a yellow tint.
I can not fault the tint on my SC52W in any way. As nice and warm as my SC51W.
I’m not a tint snob per se…but mine was puky green enough that I sent it back FAST!
The majority of 52 cools and warms are not up to par tint wise. Think lemons andl limes… I replaced mine with niteye10 and never looked back.
Sounds like they need to clear stock of the XM-L’s to make room for the XM-L2’s.
