I have a couple Pelican Mitylite 2AAA incan penlights.
i like them as they are durable, more waterproof than a submarine, and easy to find with the flourescent coloring.
My issue with them is the shorter runtime, and dim candle-intensity light from the tiny incan bulb that usually burns outy after a fiew days use.
Have anyone done any mods to this light with LED upgrades ?
I feel your pain. I only use mine for canoeing where one might end up in the water. I use to SCUBA dive, and found these really didn’t do much for me. LEDs would be great.
