Ok? What's the dimensions? I hate KD - their listings are mostly awful, not even basic size and weight specs, blurry pics and many times not even in the proper aspect ratio -- it's just bazaar considering the technology available today for cheap and I'm amazed they can sell things with lots of info just missing.

Dive lights are a completely different ballgame compared to your standard light. I would be hard pressed to trust something like this without a detailed review from a trusted source.

Guaranteed it is NOT 3500 lumens!! More like 1500- 2000 max.

I learned about S* like this when I was a beginner!

I will stick with the Brand names knowing I am getting quality!

Imagine being in the darkness and depth of the Ocean and this failing!! Not a good scenario!

I see Trustfire makes something similar to the OEM version and at least shows the lumen output much more in line to what I’d expect it to be.

This light has good potential, it is quite small, it is smallest 3xml head I have seen on ready to use flashlights. Dimming is in about 24 steps, so almost stepless. The bad thing is, that it propably drains batterries even when turned off, I left one in my car and found dead after 2 weeks. And power, or frankly speaking lack of it. It is not bright flashlight, I will try to mod it, because it is best desing for 3xml flashlight, only driver has to be chnged/tuned.

One for the team ?I am just wondering how it actually performs?I have to agreement with Tom E ,my last few lights from them were disappointments.

and last thing, mine is all black from ebay, 39$, not with silver accents like this one above

diving light??? do we have divers here on forum (non snorkeling type)? i’m just asking because “diving light” sounds like a mighty word to me, i need arguments for it?

My friend is in Hurghada now, he wil test it up to 30m under  Last chineese flashlight lasted untill 20m
But anyway, its compact size makes it nice edc lamp, especially if make it single battery driven.

Since this thread has been started there's been a Diving Lights section added on BLF. In fact this thread could be moved over there.

I've searched all the dive lights on eBay, AliExpress, and Alibaba. If there's some features you like in a dive light let me know because I've done days of research on them.

Yes, there are some. It’s the main reason I joined this group.
The primary difference for dive lights is water tight sealing of course. That has to be of a pretty high standard to not flood. As in much of the marketing of ‘budget lights’ they can claim anything they want but it needs field verification to stand up. This site is decent for that but better about support for the electronics.
For a commercial dive light this is simply expected and generally backed with some kind of warranty and customer service. You also pay a lot more for that support.

thats why I try them IRL  Untill now 20m is deepest achieved. With flood

One of the issues is depth testing. I prefer to remove EVERYTHING from the inside before a pressure test. This is not always possible with some lights.
Saltwater obviously ruins the electrics but it also generally also ruins the reflector.
Until PROVEN otherwise I assume all these lights will leak. I do that with commercial UW lights and camera cases also. Testing empty can save a lot of grief.

I got one of these from Ebay although with XM-L2 T6 emitters.
It works fine - has not leaked at 47.5 m and if I want to prevent slow discharge or accidental activation (which definitely is a problem with this light) I unscrew the tailcap half a turn. Just remember to screw it back on before diving otherwise galvanic corrosion is a problem.
The heat sink was screwed on slightly odd on mine but that was easy to fix. I think the waterproofing is much superior to let’s say the trustfire tr-j2 although even that didn’t leak at 40 m.
Dimming works great for night dives, and the amount of light is sufficient to light crevasses during the day (which generally is what you need a lot more of light for than night dives).
I definitely do recommend it for the price.
I just wish it had better protection against accidental activation which can happen easily when you slide it into your BCD pocket.

Looks too long to slide into a BC pocket to me, could you please post dimensions? I currently use an Xtar D06, this looks like a longer version of it (that takes 2 26650’s instead of 1 18650)

205x50mm - easily fits into my cressi S102 but might not fit into newer styles. I also have a Xtar d26 which seems similar to your light. I prefer the larger one because of the wider beam for night diving and because of higher output during the day. the d26 switch is nice though - I’d like to have a locking switch like this that cuts off power completely (not magnetic type) combined with the slider for dimming.

Yep, the D26 Whaleman came out right after I bought my D06, and has heaps of nice features, including 26650 compatibility. Wish I’d bought that, but like I said, came out just after I bought my D06.
I think just over 20cms might struggle to fit in my Oceanic Excursion BCD. The D06 is 15cms long.
