After almost destroying my SkyRay King doing upgrades to the sense resistors and LED wiring it is finally ready for prime time. This is a video comparing the output of the SRK to the output of a small but powerful cree light. I wish I knew the LED type of it but it’s called the CREE ALETO.
My SRK now has 7.5k on the sense circuits which bring the tail cap current up to 5.8 amps and 18 awg wires to the LED’s. As I had noted in an earlier post my 3 XM-L U2’s run at different current levels(each is 200ma apart for a total of 600ma separation). My light will burn your hand after 2 minutes runtime. I am going to record a video of driving at night after I used the SRK like a headlight last night. It is probably twice as bright as my high beams.
